We've been in this house for 2 years and we are moving!! DH can't take the commute anymore, especially after our car accident. He has to drive 67 miles each way everyday and it is just too much.(it takes about 1.5-2hours each way!!) We are going back to the county we use to live in, where our families are and much closer to his job. This will be our 4th house in 5 years! We "flipped" the first 2 but I fell in love with my current home and the area and really saw myself here for a long time. :sad1:
It's going to be really hard for me to leave but my DH and his well being are way more important.
Our house is on the market and we already found another in a great school district and only 25 miles from DH job!! Wish us luck, we'll need it, LOL the house is alot of money and it needs some work!

I also wanted to add that my DD and myself are doing much better after the accident. Things are getting back to normal for us. My neck/back injuries aren't that bad anymore. DH is still struggling and is physically not that good with his neck/back and wrist injuries. He still has alot of fears being in the car and really hates to have to drive so much. I don't have to drive that often so it's easier for me. I still cringe when I'm near a huge truck. It's not as bad as it was. Everyday it gets better.

Good luck, I hope your house sells quickly!

Oh man. I hate moving. To do it so often I can't imagine it's too fun anymore. Yuck. It wouldn't be so bad, but it's the packing and getting situated all over again that I don't like. haha. Anyways, hope everything goes well and works out the way you're hoping.

I hope everything goes well with buying a selling the houses. And thanks for the update--I hope that you all continue to improve. How is your DD doing emotionally?

Thanks for all the well wishes :teeth:
As for my DD, emotionally she is doing alot better. Every now and then she'll be in the car and just cry because she thinks about the accident. I tell her that it's OK to cry about it and let it out. But then I remind her how lucky we are and it helps her feel better.

As for the move, I've learned through the years to never fully unpack!!!LOL :rotfl:
Seriously, I have all our collectables in storage bins. I have extra empty bins on hand. They are easier to move with than boxes. This time we bought new furniture that really only goes with this type of house. DH wants to sell it all :confused3
He's crazy, but has a point. Some of my stuff is too big for some of the rooms. We'll see. Thankfully I'm a super organized person so the packing and unpacking is fun for me.
I got good news from our realtor just now. 2 offers are coming in for our house!!! We just put it on the market 6 days ago, and the open house is this Sun. I really hope everything works out smoothly.
DH is so funny. He called me at 4:30 to tell me he's in front of the house we are buying and that will be the time he gets to come home everyday!!! Poor thing still is driving here now! I don't know how he does it.

Good Luck! I wish you the best!

I was recently in an accident on my way to work (I travel 50 miles each way daily) and hate my commute. I am a much more nervous driver now, and need to find a way out of this commute.
