We're home!!...VWL 2 bed(we love it!!)

1st time in a 2 bed. Spoiled? Yes!! We saw Illuminations from pontoon boat 1st nite. Great view! Quite an adventure getting over to BW to catch it. Yesterday we went back to Epcot to spend the day. Saw Ben Vereen narrating Candlelight. He was very in to it. Dinner at Le Cellier. One word, HMMMMMMMMM. Rode Mission Space 1st time. That was awesome!
Weather is very nice. Days are mid to high 70s, nites are cooler but not unbearable.

No questions, just a quick HELLO. We are at VWL also, and I might add, it has been the best December visit we have had in a long while. The weather has been fantastic.

Since it seems to be a hot topic these days, can you tell us about the room conditions? Housekeeping?

I only ask because the casual readers of this board seem to think that every room is horribly maintained and some have indicated that they are re-thinking DVC purchases based on those comments.

If a room is dirty, that is good information to report. But for balance sake, a clean room is good information as well.

always take both kinds to WDW in December - weather can change over night

the high can be in 80 or the 40 - so bring both types - or you might find yourself buying the clothes at WDW - very expensive!!!

Room is clean, and in good shape. We were missing a cookie sheet (making sweet rolls for our company) and housekeeping brought us up 2 pronto. Come to find out they were hiding in the broiler

Really, no complaints here. We hate to leave tomorrow.

poohj80, it is expected to go down in temps on Sat (high will be 62) thru Sunday. But then on Monday the high will be in the low 70's.
Really pretty nice, but I would still pack some warm clothes just in case.

After wishing we were there this week, I decided to make a 10 day ressie for the first part of next December! I like it last time, so trying again. I think I will just wait until the 10th of January and make the whole ressie at once. Anyone think that will be a problem for a 2 bedroom at OKW? I usually do that for our January ressies.

Rm 2519 is very nice and clean. Only problem so far was balcony sliding door locks were not working. I called maint. and told them what the problem was. 2 screws were missing. Fixed very prompt. Doesnt seem that maint. or mousekeeping is lacking anywhere. I see it lacking more in parks(trash that is not normally laying around)

Days have been nice, high 70s, nites high 50s, low 60s.
Sat high is 61. We just came in and could feel a cool front blowing in. Not unbearable though. Tshirt and sweatshirt with jeans is my recommendation. This will be safe. Sun will be a few degrees warmer.
