Hi All
Got back yesterday, but after driving a long time (thanks to the traffic jams and the police deciding to close a part of the M1) we were absolutley shattered.
I am not going to write any trip reports as I didnt take any notes
But here are some of the things we did.
We had a really great time, meeting up with old friends you know who you are
and meeting some new ones. Looking forward to the next time
The meets planned by Sam were brilliant, thanks Sam for arranging them and thanks to all that came
We ate at some lovely places, O'Hannas, 1900 Park Fare and Cape May Cafe & Race Rock to name a few, unfortunatley we didnt have time to try Charleys for steak, or Sweet Tomatoes, but theres always next time
The weather was a bit cold some days, but that didnt spoil our time there, just made us do other things....shopping was one of them!
We did MVMCP, but we only stayed till 10 ish as it was so cold. We have done it a couple of times before so did some rides and watched Wishes which was fantastic that night!
Hotels were fine, we stayed at the:-
The Grosvenor was ok, not as bad as we had expected, we had a brilliant view of DTD that was it! Dont think we would've been happy if we'd have paid full rack rate for it.
The Coronado Springs is a really nice place, we were very pleased we chose here to stay, the room was lovely. We got the building and room that we'd requested.
The Wyndham, the air con had a really bad smell, which was awful
mg: I think we were expecting a bit more from this resort and we didnt find it, great location though.
The Royal Plaza, really bright and nicely set out rooms, great views of DTD again.
The only low part of the holiday was when DH caught a terrible cold and had to stay in bed for 2 days/nights
Well thats all I can think of at the moment as I am still tired
Hope y'all had a great christmas.
Any questions I will be more than happy to answer.
