Everything went very well! The weather was warm and sunny every single day- beautiful!
The stroller we rented from Apple Strollers was delivered and picked up as planned, but they did forget to send the parent console and rain cover. Luckily, we were fine without them and they refunded us our money right away.
Garden Grocer delivered right on time, everything we ordered. I ordered 2-35 packs of water and we used about 50 bottles. I am glad we got two even though we didn't drink it all. I gifted the rest to a family who was checking in when we were leaving.
I packed lots of snacks- we used less than half. BUT, I am glad we had them just in case.
We had the dining plan and ended up with 9 counter service and 6 snacks credits remaining. We picked up snacks to take home, but the CS were a loss. It was fine though- we enjoyed our TS and were not hungry AT ALL!
Tusker House had great food, but we were disappointed with having to wait 30 minutes for our table (we had a reservation), the characters took forever to get to our table (we had to request Goofy to come over so we could leave), and our waiter wasn't very attentive at all. The others were all fabulous! Highly recommend T-Rex in DTD- the food was excellent, the atmosphere was super fun, and the souvenirs were very reasonably priced! We went right when they opened at 11:30, which I think was great because it got super busy by the time we were leaving the gift shop.
Our family suite at AS Music was AWESOME. It was so nice to have that extra space and we LOVED having two full bathrooms. It was larger than we expected. Mousekeeping was great and accommodating. Hats off to the activity staff for having fun games each afternoon at the pool. My kids loved that!
One annoying thing was the CMs in the resort food court were unable to explain the parameters of the dining plan to us when we first arrived- we asked 3 people and got 3 different stories. Luckily, the one checking us out was very knowledable and straightened us out. The other annoying thing is having a 10-year old on the adult plan and an 8-year old who looks like a 10-year old because they often did not ask my child if they were supposed to get an adult portion or child portion and got it wrong. One night, my 10-year old ordered a pizza and they gave her a full 16-inch pizza! It was very chaotic around the normal dining hours, but pretty good during off times.
We went to the Halloween Party on Halloween and dressed as the Incredible family. That was really fun! We had all kinds of people stopping us to take pictures of us and with us. The parade was great, treat or treating was fun, and getting onto the rides at that time was a breeze! Our kids hung in there until the very end! I am so happy we went!
9 days on Florida was excellent, but we got home on Saturday and I am still exhausted! We went to each park once (except MK twice because of the party) and stayed at each one from rope drop to closing. I wouldn't have had it any other way! Memories were made and we had a fabulous time!!
