We're headed back! And this time...I'm NOT pregnant!-We leave TOMORROW!!

Great trip report so far! I just stumbled upon it today and am still reading through it. So..would you say your Magical Express mail comes about 4 weeks before your trip?
Also..I think I read somewhere that on your last trip, your husband was not really interested in Disney and then he loved it? I hope that is what happens to mine. We are heading down in Nov for first trip and my husband is very leery that it will be fun and sort of has an attitude. Your husband gives me hope that mine will like it!:thumbsup2

No! Is it bad that I'm doing the same thing and I have over a year til I go?
Not at all! Besides, if it weren't for us the guys would order hamburgers everywhere! :lmao:

Welcome!! And thanks! I think a month is a safe bet for the ME to arrive. If you get under three weeks and nothing, I would call.
J was soooo skeptical when I booked our last trip. Like so many, he thought it was really a place for kids. But now he knows better! ;) I think it will go great for you guys as well because you seem to be a planner like me (and a DIS-obsessed person as well ). J credits my over-planning to our successful trip. Be sure to leave "free time" open so everybody gets a chance to do something they want to do! :thumbsup2

Hey folks! I hope I still have some readers since my posts have been few and far between. This yoga stuff is killing me (kind of an awkward sentence, eh?)! Anyway, I just had to post today since in exactly 2 weeks we'll be at Disney World!!!:dance3::banana::woohoo::cool1: Can you tell I'm excited at all?

Today I'm actually at home and spending time with Emma (although she's napping at the moment, hence why I'm able to post, hehe!). I did want to post about our final day/morning at Disney :sad2: But I do want to focus on the good, that is planning, too!!

So our final day we'll probably stop off at Roaring Forks for a quick bite then head over to Magic Kingdom. But we have to get there early cause it's scheduled to be an EMH day! I would love to get there and get some of our favorites done that we might have missed or want to do again! I'm thinking all the mountains, Haunted Mansion, PotC, etc. I would also really love to walk around and soak in some of the magic. You know, notice the little things :cloud9: If we have time and the desire, we might stop off at DTD for any last minute gifts. The great news is that our flight doesn't leave until 5:30, so we'll have most of the day to explore. Who knows? We may end up at Epcot if we didn't get enough of it!!

I just learned this (wish I had known for our last trip), but since we'll have to check out of our room in the morning, we can come back to the hotel and shower in the fitness center. It's just nice to have that option. I hate to be all sweaty on a flight! :crazy2:

So then, sadly our trip will come to an end. But at least we'll have the best little girl to come home to!! :cloud9: Then, ya know, I can start planning our next trip for Emma! :rolleyes1. :lmao:

I told J to get our luggage down from the attic cause I need to start packing! I know, I know. We still have two weeks. But seriously, with the crazy schedule I have, this weekend and next weekend is all I have (although even if I didn't have yoga, I'd probably still want to pack now ).

For our last trip I bought one of this over-the-door shoe holders and it was awesome! Unfortunately, that one is now being used. So I had to go buy a new one! I'm also trying to think what other awesome tips I learned before out last trip. If anyone has any great suggestions feel free to post! I need to go browse over my notes from our last trip and see if there are any important facts I'm forgetting. I have managed to read a book of secrets around the World that I didn't get a chance to look at last time. It has some really fun facts along with missions to check out. For example, the Temple in China in Epcot. If you step in the middle and speak, the accoustics in there cause your voice to echo back! I've got to make notes and see what else we'll be able to do!

I hope everyone is having a great summer and trying to stay cool! It has been ridiculous in Texas!! No rain for days!! :headache: Oh well, I just keep telling myself it's prepping us for Florida heat!! :rotfl:

13 days now! So excited for you! :goodvibes

It hasn't rained here in days either! There's been a heatwave. On Friday, it was 108 degrees :scared1:

I know!! I actually started packing today!!

OMG!! 108!?!?! yuck! At least we're kinda used to it in Texas, but geez! I feel soooo bad for the people that don't have AC! :sad2:

Luckily the heatwave broke today and it's barely 80 degrees today. I wish it would rain. My grass is dead and brown, yuck :(

I found a foldable packable hamper. It works great because instead of having dirty clothes in a drawer or in your suitcase. That's my two cents.

Wow only two weeks away! I'm jealous! Your schedule though right now seems crazy busy. We have been hit by the heat wave here in PA too. I know it probably still doesn't compare to Texas weather but last week 3 days my car thermometer read 105. It is the humidity that kills us. We went a month straight in May with rain and now we have had maybe two storms all summer, so I feel your pain with the no rain. All of your trip details have looked awesome, you have to be getting so excited!

Yes! We actually bought one last time but never used it. I'm going to bring it again and hope for the best!

This heat really is crazy. It would be nice if we had one day under 100 or maybe a rain storm...oh well.

Yeah, this schedule has been sooooo busy! I actually have to finish a little project today that would've been due while we're out of town. Nothing too big, but it takes away from Disney planning! :lmao:

Hello to all my faithful followers!! I hate that I have next-to-no time to post during the week, but I'm able to check in for a few minutes here and there!

Hard to believe we have six (yes, count them 6!!) days until we leave for Disney! My suitcase is pretty much packed aside from the toiletries I have to use. And what about J? He hasn't packed at all. His suitcase is still downstairs. I guess he likes to wait until the very last second. Uh....no..:scared1:

I've glanced over our plans a few times and confirmed our dining reservations so we should be good to go! I planned a tiny surprise for J. Our first full day after we have brunch at Kona we're going to need to head back into MK. You see, J is getting to the point where he's in need of a hair cut. I told him to wait until we got back. But actually he's going to get his hair cut at the Harmony Barbershop!! I thought this would be a fun treat for him and it's comparable in price to where he usually goes. And maybe I'll get some pixie dust on my hair!

Overall we're pretty much ready to go! We may have an encountered a small problem. J went out for a jog yesterday and stubbed his toe... I mean really bad! The area behind his toe, on his foot is blue and swollen. He's still able to walk (in fact he's mowing the yard right now despite my request he not), but I'm just afraid he may have broken something. My brother (the firefighter/paramedic) is going to stop by and take a look. I know most docs would probably tell him to take it easy and elevate your foot, it would just be nice to have peace of mind before we go. I guess the worst that would happen is we would have to rent one of those scooters for J (and would that mean we could get to the front of the lines? :rolleyes1) then see a doc when we get back. If you're religious at all, please pray it isn't a serious injury! :)

I promise to try and post this week before we leave! At the very least on Friday when I get home! This week is going to fly by! Just hope our time at Disney doesn't end in the blink of an eye!! :goodvibes

Oh my gosh! 6 days left!!!! I hope J's foot heals a bit more before you leave. That's a lot of walking to do on a bum foot.

4 days to go!!!!!!:woohoo::banana::dance3:

It's gonna be a crazy week, but I know it will fly by!

Thanks for the concerns about J's foot. He seems to be doing a little better, but it's still swollen (not as bad as it was so that's good!). I'm just slightly worried about someone accidentally stepping on it in line or something! Just hope it's nearly fully recovered by Saturday!! :goodvibes :wizard:

Hope everyone is having a great week!!

Tell J to watch out for those crazy stroller people! They'll run him and his feet down. Those people are nuts!

OMG! :lmao: I totally forgot about the strollers!!! :scared1::laughing: Geez! He seems to be doing better, but it's not 100% yet. But we still have two days! :woohoo:

This week at school has been so hectic! I've had several tests to take since I'll be gone next week, so I've been studying (and panicking) like a freak. I've also tried to fit in some Disney planning in between. :rolleyes1 But I only have today and tomorrow!!

Hope y'all have a great Thursday!

This time tomorrow we'll be on our way to DISNEY WORLD!!! :dance3::yay::woohoo: I have soooo much to do (well, not really, but it feels like it) and I can't do anything until I get home from school tonight! :headache: I'm mostly packed, but J has still not packed anything! :scared1: He said he'll do it today while Emma is napping. I have this weird feeling he may wait til I get home and then decide to pack (with my assistance of course :snooty:).

Poor J has been running errands all week with Emma to take care of everything before we go.We have to make sure the fridge is stocked for Emma and her babysitters (mostly my mom and one of my best friends). We also had to make sure the house is taken care of. This heat has been ridiculous. Can you believe it was 110 degrees the other day?!?! J jokingly states (but with some seriousness) that we're headed for another Dust Bowl. Geez, I hope not. :sad2:

His foot seems to be doing better, but not back to normal. I really hope it's feeling good by Sunday, our first day at Magic Kingdom! I'm packing tons of ziploc bags incase he needs to ice it every now and then, that and lots of pain meds.

I hope everyone is having a great Friday!!

I can't believe you're leaving tomorrow! Have an amazing time and tell Mickey I'll see him next year. Can't wait to read all about your trip! :goodvibes
