We're Going

I just booked our stay at the BCV for January. Rates were not what I expected---like 200 dollars more than I was quoted per night. We are going in mid January, but was quoted regular season rates. Anyone else think this was value season?

Couldn't get rates for dining package either, but, oh well, we're going! There will be 8 of us (6 adult, 2 DGD's--4 and 1).

Any words of wisdom from someone who's stayed there and has gone in a group?

Haven't stayed there, but I hope you enjoy your trip! I do know that the deluxe resort "seasons" are different from the mods and values, maybe that's it?

I read somewhere that until 2006 rates/seasons are announced, all prices they quote are regular rate. January will no doubt be Value, so as soon as 2006 dates are out, the rates should be adjusted accordingly...and you should be able to add a package, too.

i was told by a cast member that for 2006 (we're going in Jan. also) you have to book at regular rate until june or july when the 2006 rates are announced. then you can have the rate changed.
