We're going back to Walt Disney World in May 09!...pics added

my2disneyboys: Are you flying Southwest? That's who we're flying with and yes we had already booked our flight...to take advantage I just had to view my flight info and make a change to my itinerary. Technically I cancelled the previous flight and rebooked the same cheaper flight. I did it all online. To get started you click on "View or Change your flight" on the home page (In the middle of the screen last button on the right of the main part there). It was pretty easy.

Stay safe. The storms should be starting anytime now. It's cloudy and nasty looking outside. I'm on the fence on whether to spend the extra money on a vehicle or not. I thought I better book it just in case though!

Have a safe and quiet evening!

That is a good deal for the van. Would you use it instead of ME to the parks and stuff? Or as a "we feel like driving instead of taking the bus today" kinda thing?? You would still pay for parking at the parks right? Hope you don't have to go in the closet tonight!!

We are driving down to Florida again this year and leaving May 14th. But we will be in Magic Kingdom on the 18th also!

Well the plan looks like this as of this morning. We can't make our ADR's until tomorrow so this may change slightly.

May 16th
Fly out and arrive in Orlando around 11am

Head to the resort and hope for an early check in
If we get in we will unpack and check out the resort
If we can't get in yet we will head to DTD to Design a Tee
(The girls will love this I think)
I intend to do both of these things this day but the order may get reversed.

Have dinner at Ohana and watch Wishes from the beach of the Poly.

May 17th-DH's birthday
Animal Kingdom - be there for rope drop
Spend most of the day at AK then head to EPCOT
for the DIS meet
Dinner will be at Le Cellier or Teppan Edo...I'm going to let DH decide.

May 18th
Magic Kingdom Day!
Early appointments for girls at BBB
Lunch at CRT
spend the day having fun riding rides and getting autographs

May 19th Disney Studios
Spend the day having fun with the girls
Mama Melrose's for dinner hopefully with a Fantasmic dinner package

May 20th - EPCOT then MK
More fun on the attractions
Dinner will be at 1900 Park Fare I think...

May 21st - We're going to the Beach! I haven't decided which one yet but definitely want to let the girls see the ocean.

May 22nd - Family Choice totally open
Dinner at Chef Mickey's!

May 23rd - Back to DTD for last minute gifts and souvenirs.
Fly back to Nashvegas.

Well that's my plan for now. What do you think???

We probably wouldn't use it to go back and forth to the parks any day but maybe the last. As a resort guest, we wouldn't have to pay for parking if we did decide to drive rather than take a bus, but we like taking the buses and not having to walk across parking lots, remember parking sports and ride trollies etc. We do like to get out on 192 and do a little shopping. I could get the essentials from Garden Grocer though. I don't know what we're going to do yet but hated to let it slip by if I decide we must have something. :confused3

How cool, more DIS friends!! :goodvibes

Welcome to my Pre-trippie! :welcome: Maybe we'll see you at the park! There are quite a few of us that will be in MK that day. :thumbsup2

Love the pics in your siggie! Too cute!!

I love having a car at our disposal, makes getting around so much easier and I like the freedom of being able to travel off property.

Ah, I did not know that resort guests get free parking-newbie here. 192 has stores and stuff I take it. What kind of stuff do you order from garden grocer. I am trying to decide if it is worth it for us...For that price I would definitely think about it!

I know that's why its so tough. I like having the freedom a vehicle also. I just don't know if I want to spend the extra money. We really only need it for one day.

192 does have shopping and non-Disney restaurants. I will probably get some cokes, water, beer, juice boxes, pop tarts, snacks, from Garden Grocer but only if I don't rent a car. If we decide to go ahead with the minivan then we'll go offsite and get some stuff.

Still trying to decide if I want to do GG. A little something went in the mail today for some princesses in KY. Or is Lindsey to old to be a princess???

It was a beautiful day here in KY. The girls went to an Easter egg hunt sponsored by Girl Scouts. They had a really good time. My entire troop showed up and everyone was on time so I was very pleased. The great thing about Girl Scouts for us is that they allow Josie to participate in most events as a tagalong even though she isn't a Girl Scout. Here are some pics of the girls with their eggs and Lindsey with one of Lindsey with a craft.

Lindsey isn't too old to be a princess. She still wants to do BBB. :goodvibes They will love getting something in the mail. Thank you so much!!

It looks like the girls had a fun time today! It was a beautiful day here in Michigan too, but we're expecting 4-8inches of snow tomorrow night and Monday. Yuck! I am soooo ready for warm weather!

WOW! They are calling for some snow here tomorrow also. There must be one heck of a front coming through because it was 70 today :confused3 I'm ready for warm weather too. I'm taking care of my neighbors house and dogs the next few days. They went to Daytona this week. I'm sooooo jealous. Wouldn't 80 degree weather be wonderful right now?

Thanks Mary for the kind words about the girls! I really want to lose a little weight before our trip. I love Wii Fit but sometimes it's a little tough to get control of the TV when Joe's home. :lmao: I just checked the weather channel and it looks like I will get some veg time tomorrow. Storms are starting again around 1pm. That's when the cold weather will come through too. Major bummer. :headache:

I aslo want to lose some weight but I also want to eat LOL Catch 22. I do great until aft then munch munch. We have the same TV issue here. I usually try to do it in the am when the girls are at school. It has been asking me where Jeff is lately LOL. Sorry about the cold weather. We have had lots of wind here.

The girls are adorable! Is anyone too old to be a princess? princess: The easter egg hunt looks so cute. I took one of my sons to see the bunny yesterday and next weekend we will go to "Bunnypalooza" at the zoo and see him again. I will be happy when easter is over because then the trip will be so close!!!
