We're going back to Walt Disney World in May 09!...pics added

Awwww, great pictures of the girls!
Thanks Lessa!

The girls are adorable! Is anyone too old to be a princess? princess: The easter egg hunt looks so cute. I took one of my sons to see the bunny yesterday and next weekend we will go to "Bunnypalooza" at the zoo and see him again. I will be happy when easter is over because then the trip will be so close!!!
I'm getting more excited my the minute. Josie didn't want anything to do with the Easter bunny yesterday. Lindsey loves him though. Bunnypalooza sounds awesome. I need to see if the Louisville or Nashville zoos are doing something like that. We love the zoo.

It was a beautiful day here in KY. The girls went to an Easter egg hunt sponsored by Girl Scouts. They had a really good time. My entire troop showed up and everyone was on time so I was very pleased. The great thing about Girl Scouts for us is that they allow Josie to participate in most events as a tagalong even though she isn't a Girl Scout. Here are some pics of the girls with their eggs and Lindsey with one of Lindsey with a craft.

We went out to dinner tonight at a Hibachi Japanese restaurant. It was supper yummy. I'm so stuffed. I need to do some Wii Fit and burn some calories. Have a great night!

Leanne

Looks like they really enjoyed themselves! Beautiful girls!

Your girls are beautiful. I have to work next weekend so the annual egg hunt we go to is out of the question. Dale seems to be home bound if I am not with him...............:lmao:

They did have a good time. Thanks for the kind words. :goodvibes

Your girls are so pretty, looks like they had a lot of fun on the Easter egg hunt! Yay for a beautiful day.
The girls love egg hunts. It was pretty nice today until about 6pm. Storms rolled in. We got some hail with this one. Supposed to snow tomorrow.:scared1: Things are supposed to turn around Wednesday. I hope next weekend is nice. That's when we are having our Mickey Mom's Club party.

Thanks Dana! Too funny about Dale :lmao:

I did something I haven't done in nearly ten years today. I rode my moutain bike! It was about 74 degrees up until about 6pm and it was sunny until about 3pm. We had a storm pass through that carried hail, strong winds, and tons of rain.

Joe and I bought bikes with some gift cards we got at our wedding nearly 10 years ago. We went for a ride, came home and when I was coming back in the house, the screen door caught my foot and nearly cut my heel off. I didn't ride after that because it took a long time for it to heal and the bike went up in the top of the garage. The next summer we had Lindsey and the rest is history.

Lindsey taught herself how to ride a bike a few weeks ago. It may sound lazy that she didn't already know but everytime we would talk about taking the training wheels off she would get worked up and break out in hives. She was terrified. She asked a few weeks ago to take the wheels off and off she went almost immediately.

So Joe got our bikes down, bought a seat to put on the back of his bike for Josie and off we went. We rode a little over 7 miles today. It was fun. My rear end is a little sore. I don't remember bike seats being so small. :lmao:

Good job Lindsey!! Avery asked not to put hers on the new bike. I do not think she is ready but we will give it a try. 7 miles, that is awesome!! Lol about the bike seat.

Sounds like you had a fun weekend, despite the crazy weather. Kaylee just learned to ride a two wheeler 5 months ago too. Same thing as Lindsey, would get herself worked up. Great pics from the Easter egg hunt. Our Girl scout troop isn't doing anything fun like that and they don't like me brining Thomas to stuff because he is a boy :sad2:. Mind you he is the most behaved little boy ever, unlike most the kids around here. I'm not the leader though. I need to be spending time on the Wii Fit too. I have been walking 2-3 miles everyday and doing WW points and not losing anything. I would love to lose ten before the trip but hopefully at least five. So are you ready for cold weather again :scared:?

Oh, you poor thing, that must have hurt so bad with your heel.

I have a mountain bike too, and as soon as we're in the 70s here i'm going to take the girls to the bike path. But you are so right, everytime I get on a bike, I'm like "oh man, what is with this seat" They are pretty painful:rotfl:

You will probably be surprised. I've seen kids her age riding all over the place on just two wheels. If she's determined I say go for it! Good luck Avery!

I'm not losing either and I have been working out more than ever in my life and watching everything I consume. I don't know what's going on :confused3 Our Girl Scout council allows both boys and girls to participate. I do enjoy the Wii Fit as it allows me to work out at 11pm after things quiet down. I'm like you busy all the time. I volunteer with United Way so between school, girl scouts, work, and UW I'm on the go nonstop.

It was nice to get out and exercise as a family. I've been going to the park (it has a walking/jogging path) when weather permits. The girls play and I walk/run. I"m looking for ways to occupy/involve the kids while i exercise too. I want them to realize exercise is integral to being healthy and not struggle with weight as I do. I hope it works.

I wish we had some bike paths around here. I'm not crazy about being passed by cars. Some were courteous and others were down right scary. :scared1:

The heel incident was nasty. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Just a quick post to celebrate being in the 30's! HOOOORRRAAAY!! We are getting so close!:dance3::cheer2::yay::woohoo:

I'll be MIA for a couple of days - have to go to Mississippi for work. Not real excited about it but it's part of it I suppose. Probably talk to ya on Thursday unless I can find some WiFi!

Safe travels, I will miss chatting with you! Hope you can find some WIfi!!

Hope you are not working too hard in Mississippi :goodvibes. I can't seem to lose any weight either :confused3 . I'm staying right on track with points. I don't even use the 35 weekly points they give you and I exercise 30-60 minutes 6days a week :headache:. I guess it's probably related to being Hypothyroid. But the Dr. refuses to up my meds because even though they bordering high she thinks it's good enough. She could care less that I'm exhausted, scattered brain or at my heaviest weight ever. Have you ever had your thyroid checked? Seems so many of us have this problem, especially in East TN.

Don't feel bad, I can't lose weight either. My dr keeps a good tab on my bloodwork due to the MD I have, so it's not my thyroid, just a slow metabolism I guess!! I'm sitting here playing with my new camera when I should be doing the dishes!! I'll post pics on my TR here soon!! It's cute, and HOT PINK!!!!

Nichole
I am counting points too. Ae you sure you are eating enough?? With all that exercise you may need to up the points. I am sorry about the Doc not upping the meds when you feel that it is needed. Hang in there.

Finally got in and got the free WiFi going. My colleague wants to me at 6am for breakfast in the morning so I need to get to bed. I'm just not tired yet. :confused3 I'm going to have a really long day tomorrow.

Mississippi hasn't been very exciting thus far. So sorry your doctor isn't cooperating. It's no fun when you don't feel good and the Dr. isn't willing to budge. I feel your pain. Counting points, working out, and nothing for a few weeks now. :confused3 I haven't had my thyroid checked but I'm starting wonder. Hope things start to turn around for us. I'm going to see my Dr. in a few weeks to get something to help with plane anxiety. I will chat with him then. Good luck Nichole!!! :goodvibes

Good luck Christie. Can't wait to see your pics from seaworld and off the new camera. I love me some pink. Congrats on the new camera!!

You should ask about having your thyroid checked when you get your meds for the plane ;). Not sure if you have other symptoms. Well weigh in was today for me and I lost a tiny .6 :guilty:. It's so hard to lose weight after you have kids and get in your thirties.

Congratulations on your weight loss! I'd take .6 right now. I was so thin before kids and lost the pg weight after Lindsey then after Josie I lost only some of it and have struggled every day since. It has been really bad the last few months. I've been working harder than ever and nothing. It's a downer. I'm definitely going to talk to my Doctor about the possibilities. I'm quickly approaching my 35th b-day so I think that has a major role to play also. I'm not giving up though. I'm going to keep at it until a doctor or someone gives me a reason not too.

I was bone skinny before I had my kids too. Then years later after losing, gaining, losing, gaining............well you get the picture. I gave up. Then I got on the scale and was SHOCKED :scared1: at my weight. I tried to talk my Dr into giving me something to help and he never would. Well, long story, and 43 less pounds later, I got a new Dr and he gave me some diet pills. I still have 2 weeks of pills left so I am hoping to drop at least 2 more pounds. I have had to go in once a month for blood pressure and weight checks but it is soooooooooooooo worth it. Anyone who hasn't struggled with their weight thinks it is just a "don't eat so much" problem, but they just don't have a clue. I eat less than my best friend, by far, and she is skin and bones. Don't give up.
