We're going back to Walt Disney World in May 09!...pics added

Happy Sunday Readers!

I have accomplished a lot today. Did some :laundy:, filed my taxes, did all of the accounting work for Girl Scout Cookie sales, made homemade beef and noodles, and read up on CBR.

I got this in the mail on Friday and forgot to share with my readers. Good thing they sent another one this year because last years was looking a bit rough.

I hope to hear on Monday if I won one of the celebration party kits. I really hope I did. I've been looking for an excuse to have a party.

So I am looking for some opinions...we will be celebrating Joe's birthday on May 17th. He will be 38. Last year I bought him a fishing excursion, had a cake delivered to our room, and we had dinner at Le Cellier. We are doing Le Cellier and the DIS Meet on his birthday but I feel like I need to do something more. Here is a pic of him last year during his fishing excursion...it was taken with his IPhone so the quality isn't the greatest.

Any ideas for something fun and different?

If he likes racing you could do the Richard Petty Experience. Or if he likes golf get him a tee time at the course. My husband likes to eat so going out to a nice dinner is right up at the top of his list :thumbsup2.

They have a segway tour at Epcot or Fort Wilderness/Wilderness Lodge. That looks pretty cool!

I'm debating b/t a fishing excursion or a segway tour for DH. What did your DH think about the fishing excursion? My concern is DH is a BIG fisher, I'm talking he fishes 2-3 tournaments and month from march until October, and is a member of a club and if you are familiar BASS and fishes federation nation.

I might have to check out the RP Experience. He's not really a golfer. He had a set of clubs when we got married but in almost 10 years he hasn't gone golfing once :confused3

I was thinking about this one. I would like to do this one day myself. It sounds really cool. Any idea how much it costs?

Joe loves to fish but isn't a professional or anything. He enjoyed the experience. He caught like 40 fish in two hours. The only reason he doesn't want to do it again is because it costs like $400 and he would be doing it alone again. He'd rather wait until Josie is old enough and we can do it as a family. You're allowed up to 5 in the boat I think so if you're going with a group that can help with the costs. They supply rods, reels, bait, and refreshments for up to five. He thought it was cool to catch fish with the Contemporary and the castle in the background. I mean where else can you do that?

Not cheap but there is also the Nascar driving experience !!!Blueeyed girl bought her hubby that for their anniversary think it was !!!

The picture from the fishing excursion is awesome. I was looking into the Richard Petty experience for my dh. It's expensive, but seems to be so worth it.

Guess I need to check into the Richard Petty Experience. Seems to be popular among my readers! :goodvibes

So I got my Mickey Moms Club note today and....

I won an in home party!!!! :cheer2: :dance3:   :yay: I have a Disney party to plan between March 23 and April 12. This is going to be fun. I'm already working on my guest list.

We had a Girl Scout meeting tonight so I haven't gotten much planning done. I need to get on the ball. The good thing is that Girl Scout cookie sales are officially over...WOOOOHHHOOOO.

Still haven't heard anything about the job so I'm assuming I was #2. Oh well. Guess it wasn't meant to be.

Yay, congrats on the party-I will be looking for my invite LOL-how much are plane tickets to Kentucky??? You will have to post lots and lots of pics!!

Yay no more cookies!, I am sorry about the job-maybe it is not to late.

YAAAY 60 DAYS!!! I hit that I think tomorrow or Thursday!! :dance3: I can't wait, I'm ready to GO NOW!!! This waiting is just killing me, I'm trying to look forward to easter, that'll give me something in the middle, but it's hard, cause I just want DISNEY, not the EASTER BUNNY!!! :smickey:

I think the In-home Disney celebration will give me something Disney to help pass the time between now and our trip. It will also be a good excuse to get some much needed spring cleaning done.

So I got a call from the perspective job today and I and the other remaining candidate both passed the corporate test so they want to put both of us to another test next week. Next tuesday afternoon I am having lunch with the group I interviewed with, all of the supervisors in the plant, and the quality department. After lunch, I have to train this group for 15-20 minutes on a topic of my choosing. :scared1:

So I will be spending at least part of my weekend preparing a presentation and training materials for a job I may or may not get. As I was telling Joe, I will probably do all of this work and they will come back with an offer that is half of what i make now...:rotfl2:

Yay! A Disney party! I've seen people talking about these parties, but I don't know anything about them. What are they all about?

I can't believe you have to go through all of that work for a prespective job! Can you choose something Disney as your topic? Good luck!!

WOW, how exciting :cool1: :cheer2:. I haven't even gotten the magnet. :sad1:. I tired out for the Mom's panel last year too and lots of people got a pin and stickers and stuff and alas I got nothing then either :sad2: :sad1:.

I hope you have a great party and I can't wait for the details.

Sorry about the house but congrats on the in home Disney party :cool1:. Josie is adorable and her is gorgeous. :yay: for 60 days, probably 59 for you now.
