Well, there's LOTS around here, but my TOP pick would be to go to New Smyrna. I was raised there, and those beaches are just georgous. You can still DRIVE on the beach there too, that's awesome for finding that perfect spot. Stay well north of the Jetty tho, lots of sharks near the Jetty!! Second pick, well..don't know. I'm not too thrilled with the beaches here....like Cocoa beach, you can't drive on it, and the sand is darker, I went walking on it without my flops last summer, and got REALLY bad blister burns on the bottom of my feet! Plus, it makes your feet look dirty. NEVER had that issue in New Smyrna. Easiest way to go there, is take I4 East, to HWY 44...and then follow that to the beach! There's plenty of beaches on the South side, but you can take Washington St towards the beach, and go to the Flagler ramp, but that area is usually the busiest! I'd stay on 44 and go a little south until you find a nice spot, you can't miss it!!

Will do. I'm considering changing my AK day on the 17th to just EPCOT because of the DIS Meet. UG is now showing it as a worst park too so I guess it doesn't matter. We're not eating there for our ressie so it is very doable to change it. I also didn't upgrade our tix to park hoppers yet because I've bought them the last 3 years and we really haven't hopped around. I'm thinking of leaving it off and only upgrading when I get there if I think I can't live without it. It's a savings of $213. I will try to post our new and improved itinerary tonight. I don't have everything with me at work. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

I was considerig that as well but think it depends on what time they get up. I just have a few must do's and I think we could be done right after lunch and head over to Epcot. We are doing Flame Tree for lunch I am having cute AK customs made so I really want them to wear those asap! We do have hoppers it being our first time and all. I can see how the $$ savings would be a bonus if you did not need to use it. I added a Sci Fi lunch today for tues-DHS day. Now I am thinking if we don't do AK on sun then I may want to do it on tues. Oh well, I got Disney dining on speedial. I will look for your itinerary tonight-did not know how to spell itinerary so thats why I put schedule I hope that we can plan to meet up- I will have my people call ur people HA HA

Hi Leanne!! I just came across your PTR! We will be at WDW the same week as you!! I have 2 girls as well--BTW--your girls are ADORABLE!!! I saw your itinerary/ADR list and we have some of the same!! We will also be in MK on 5/18 AND have an 8 a.m. appt. at BBB!! We are also eating breakfast at CRT--10:05 ressie!! We are also doing Epcot on 5/20! Anywho, I just started a PTR of my own! Ok--I've been reading through your PTR and saw that you live in Bowling Green, KY!! I have a very close friend that lives there and we've been up there many times to visit!! We were there last 4th if July and went to WKU to watch the fireworks (in the rain I might add)!!!

I am so upset right now ...just called WDW to confirm all of our reservations and the CM that handled my reservation at exactly the 90 day mark booked BBB on the 20th not the 18th. There is nothing available at the castle on the 18th now. If you remember I have a CRT and a AAA Storybook Experience booked for this day. I just want to cry I am so mad. They can get me in at DTD at 9:05am but I didn't book it because I wanted to talk to Joe. I guess I will call and book DTD but I am so disappointed.

Thanks for letting me vent a little-I will quit being a big baby...Joe doesn't understand why I would be so upset but then again he didn't spend weeks coming up with the plan and didn't get up at 5am on a weekend to make these reservations only to have them booked incorrectly.

Okay I feel better now.

I want to have BBB at the castle too before eating at CRT. It really is the perfect plan, so I can understand why your so mad. I called and booked 9:05 at DTD. There were zero openings for CRT on Wednesday and nothing at BBB at the castle on Monday before 3:30p. Lindsey did her first BBB experience at DTD in 2007 (it was the only one then). It is much roomier. Last year we did the castle at 8am and it was packed in there but the studio was nice and there was something just a little more magical about being made into a princess at the castle. With this being Josie's first time and probably Lindsey's last, I really wanted to execute what I thought was the perfect plan. I guess reality is that life isn't perfect. So our plan for that day is now:

DTD at 9:05 both girls BBB
CRT for lunch at 12:05p
Story Time Experience at 4:30p

Because we won't be at MK at rope drop another MK day will be required. I will post our new and improved schedule this evening.

I need to jump off here and get ready for work. Work isn't going to be fun today. A very, very good friend and colleague of mine passed away Friday night unexpectedly.

Grrrrrr, I can't believe how many mistakes they keep making with BBB reservations!! I have even read about people showing up when they made their appointments for a certain day/time and being turned away and told it was scheduled for a different day. Not sure how they think someone who can keep teack of room reservations, plane travel, magical express info and adr's could make a mistake about that one thing. Makes no sense at all!
I'm so sorry for your loss and will send up prayers for your co-workers family.

Thanks for the hugs. I'm probably more concerned about it than the girls but last year we went at 8am and we had the park to ourselves for all kinds of beautiful pictures (without 1000 people in the background) and I guess I was just spoiled.

I'm trying to work out everything so that we aren't wore out and get to see everything we really enjoy. I have it penned on paper just need to get it posted tonight.

Thanks for the prayers. I'm glad I called. The only reason I called is because last year I made my ADR's and showed up at LeCellier at our reservation time and the ressie had been cancelled two weeks prior by some CM name Jose. They worked us in but we had to wait for almost an hour. It was DH's birthday. This year I didn't want to take a chance. I am very glad I called. You probably could have heard me crying across the resort if I had showed up at BBB on May 18th to find out the girls couldn't get in.

Again, thanks for the everyone. I'm leaving in about an hour to go to my friend's visitation as my interview is going on during his funeral tomorrow afternoon. He was such a special person and the first friend I made when I came here 4 years ago. We shared an office for two years before I was promoted and got an office of my own. He was so easy to get along with and so kind. He will be missed greatly.
