Who's with me this year? We did great last year!!! Let's do it again! I dont know about you guys but I slacked off over the summer now I have to get back on track especially with the new house!

I was just thinking that. When my DH has the weekend off I'm going to send him and the two kids out so I can actually get my house clean. Then take a picture of it so when they get back and destroy it I can gaze at my picture.

Oh, count me in! The kids have destroyed my house over the summer and I can't wait to get it organized again.

I counted this morning and the kids here have 10 weeks off from school. Now I'm lucky my son is in a summer program through school (special ed) so he's gone alot but no wonder we can't get organized. Isn't there a support group we should form?

Its called clutter busters S&K we did it last year and I think it went really well!

I know I , for one, got a lot of work done around here.
It seems to have enough interest I think we can get it going again.


What we did last year was follow the plan www.organizedhome.com

each week we tackled a seperate room and it went really well.

Actually, I started this 2 weeks ago! There have been numerous trips to Goodwill. You wouldn't believe some of the treasures I've found while cleaning out and believe me there is alot more that is going to go! I've even managed to find some new unwrapped toys that I've given to a lady at work who takes them to a transitional housing complex and they will keep them for Christmas presents for the kids. That always makes me feel good!

I'm with you!!! I just organized my bedroom closet and have started on the bathroom closet.

I've already started! With the heat wave this week I just cranked on the a/c and started sorting through things. The kitchen was my first project. Next will be the family room. Then the craft room and then the dining room downstairs.

I will wait until DS goes off to school before I REALLY clean his room...if you know what I mean! DD's room is constantly in motion - she is 3 and just getting into sorting her toys & stuff.

I'm hoping that a local church has their yard sale soon so I can dump a bunch of stuff off. In the Spring I got rid of a lot of baby things by giving to a local realtor who was having a yard sale for Easter Seals.

When it gets cooler I'll do the sorting through the clothes of both kids. Some gets given to Goodwill, and the better stuff gets saved for younger cousins.

I know it sounds pathetic, but I am so excited about getting the house cleaned!!

Well....I didn't do much with this last year but I'm bound and determined to at least try this year!!!! And I'm starting this weekend.....

My girl scout service unit equipment is coming out of my basement and off to a storage place!!!!!! Now, I just have to figure out how to claim that space as mine!!!!! hehehehehe

OK Clutter busters let's go. I want to start with the tv room. God everything needs to be cleaned. I was at Walmart this weekend and bought the rug cleaner stuff.

I agree with Brisully

Fall = Football

DS plays College football and we are gone to games every Sat. but one (FD chicken BBQ,no game scheduled anyway). we go to all of them. Some in Ohio, Indiana, Iowa and here in Ill. He is a starting left tackle and is co-captain this year (proud dad moment)
He also made second team all conference last yr as Soph.

As you can tell we will not be getting organized until late Nov..
