As we are on our way i tell DH he has driven a lot, i will gladly take over and he says "NO!!! i MUST MUST MUST drive under the WDW sign!!" But I WANTED to drive under the sign!!!!!!!!!!! DH will not let me drive and i become silent

that is until Livin' On A Prayer Came on THEN the mascara Mic came out and we were Bon Jovi live in CONCERT!!!!

Anyone notice that as you first get into FL and are on that trek to Central Fl, there are NO WDW billboards???? i was soooo upset! i was looking forward to that!

So after an eventful couple of hours which seemed like ANOTHER eternity (can't you just imagine how fun i am in the car!!!) we hit the Central Florida area and are on the look out for our exit!!!

I can't help it, I MUST MUST MUST pixie dust my DH and he finally DOES NOT disagree!!! he is definately ready to get there!!!!! As we are looking for our exit i hear:

"ummmm where is the nearest gas exit, we're NOT going to get much further"

ME:


AUGHHH!!!! I TOLD YOU SO!!!! i'm always 99.9% right in this relationship!!!!! AUGHHH!!!!

DH:

RELAX we will totally make it, i just want to be sure

alright i can coast to the pump....

THANK goodness there was no one behind us and he was working at a good speed from the HWY, soo we DID coast to the pump!!!!

DH gets out and starts pumping the gas (after having to push it just a little bit to get the pump to reach the car!!)

I roll down the window and hang out of the car (the pump& tank are on thedrivers side of the car)

ME:

SALLLLL DO YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE BATHROOM???

no....why are you so loud everyone is looking at us!!

ME:

THEN STOP DOING THE PEE-PEE dance!!!

Everyone at gas station:


THEN from around the other side of the pump an attendant peeks his head around and smiles!! (i soo did not know the other pump was full service and he heard EVERYTHING!)

DH:


(he ducks into the car)
I totally have to go, but now i CANNOT go in there! everyone will laugh at me!!

ME:
just go, otherwise you will pee your pants in line at POP

Yeahhh just like when we had enough gas to drive to Alaska and back!

Well DH just keeps driving with no end in site and suddenly he just gets off at an EXIT, i didn't even know which one. THEN we are suddenly back on 535.

ME:

WHAT are WE doing!?!?!?

DH:

Just wait and RELAX!!

Then he turns onto WORLD DRIVE near the Nick Hotel there and he pulls to the side of the road near the Orlando Marriott WOrld Center Entrance.

ahhh i know what he wants! he probably wants to go inside to WORLD CENTER to remember the time we stayed there!!



BOY was i wrong, he GETS OUT of the car and then he's opening my door.

DH:

Hon' you drive now. I turned around completly so now YOU can drive under the WALT DISNEY WORLD sign!!


ME:


I SWEAR i had hearts in my eyes!! i was so googlie eyed at my DH!!

"awwww...you ......you... I LOVE YOU!!"

So i hop in the car and AWAY WE GO!!

I drove under that sign and YES YES YES i felt the magic go through me too! so now we were all pixie dusted!!

Check in-Nothing funny here, just pretty boring!!



We get to the POP and decide we will just unload the Double stroller and toss the kiddos in there since we have to check in and we have no clue where we will be! then we will head to the room and unload from there!!

I'm bracing myself for a HUGE line since we got there after 1pm. But we walk in and there are only like 10 people in the lobby!!! and only a handful of them are in the check-In/Out line!!

As we are waiting i dig out my ID and Credit card, so we're prepared. DD and DS are just taking it all in and then DH looks at me and says "welcome home"
awww it's soo true!! i love this place!!!!!!

Then a CM out of no where comes up and gives the kids mickey head shaped balloons!!! it was sooo sweet and they LOVED them!!! no one else got them, just our kiddies!! sooo SWEET!!!

Check in With JOE S. was AWESOME! he was fun and totally cool!! He explained stuff to us and then got us our room (7123 building 7 80s section first floor AKA: THE END OF THE WORLD!). As we were checking in a Lady from the next counter checking in another couple recognized us!! she's one of our fave CMs!!! (Alice) She remember us from the year we went there and got married and then last year when we brought DD and now here we were with DS!!! We PROMISED we would be back soon, BUT with NO MORE kids!!

I drop off all the goodies at the FD for the DISers i know will be there and THEN we wait for the boxes we shipped there!! (Three in the END).

The CM CANNOT find them!! after about 10minutes he comes out with 2 (he needed 2 other people to help him!!! they were HUGE!!) they will deliver the last one. cool whatever!

We get a Dolly (that luggage cart thing) and head to find our room!!
Well first detour was at the POP JETS!! the kids just wanted DOWN DOWN DOWN!!!
So we stopped for a bit!! before heading to the end of the earth to find our room!!

The sign Says straight ahead, but DH SWEARS he knows where the room is and it's THIS WAY!!!
so we have 2 wet kids sitting in a HUGE double stroller and DH pulling a luggage cart thing loaded with 2 boxes and i am holding 2 balloons that keep blowign in my face with the wind!! so we look crazed! DH has NOOOO idea where he is going and we end up in the 70s section:

DH:

hahaha!! told you i would find it!!

ME:

WHAT>>

DH:

the building! see 70s!!!

ME:

ummmm BUILDING SEVEN! 80s section!!!

DH:

NO! lemme see that paper, you never listen!

ME:

DH while looking at the paper:

oh the dude must have TOTALLY changed our room!

ME:

yup you're right dear! with his magic pen that reached all the way over here from the FD.

Soooo

30 minutes after checking in we are in our room!!!
It's cute, clean at the back of the resort! BUT sooo close to the parking lot!!

We are BEAT! but there is so much to do today!!
First things first! (I JUMP on the bed!!) yes i'm a bad mom and bad POPper, but i LOVE jumping on the bed!! it makes me feel like a kid again!!

Then DH tackles me and we fall off the bed! (did i mention the window is open this whole time and 2 kids are watching us laughing?!?!

After unloading the car and unpacking (DH while i watch the Top 7!!!!) we are ready to hit the POOL!!!!! but quickly we need tIme to START the window decorating!!!
We went all out with the window and door and our neighbor came out and laughed at us! he asked if it was our FIRST TIME??

NOPE! we do this EVERY YEAR!!

Next up:

Michelle venturing off property ALONE to go and grocery shop!
AND the CRAZY neighbors

My youngest DS needs a haircut as well. The plan was to get it cut in MAy, but he fell asleep. SO now we are getting it cut in November. I sooo understand.
