We use to drive all the time from Mass to disney with 3 kids (i'm one of the kids)in the back seat heres my suggestion for you if you are travelling with kids... make sure they have plenty to do!! i cant stress that enough especially if they are of the older group 11-what ever age.... it gets sooo boring driving especially with the anticipation of wanting to be at disney if you can rent a dvd player if you dont have one already it will make the time go by so fast 2hr movies always make time go by fast....
I hope that is helpful to you like i said we drove down at least once a year for 12 years as far as i can remember and anything that can go wrong prob will one of my greatest disney world memories is when we drove down i was like 5 and we broke down but the police man let me call mickey on the CB radio to tell him not to worry but i would be there soon...

WOOHOO!! We're in the single digits of weeks too! We leave 5 weeks from tomorrow, and arrive 5 weeks from Sunday!! For some reason I thought we had 6 weeks to go, dh corrected me today, only 5!!!!

Our drive is about 15 hours... I dread the drive home too...
