Yea! My DH had been holding off on fully commiting to this trip due to the economy and a few other things. But this weekend we decided to go for sure although we are canceling our DxDDp to save money and planning to eat more counter service instead of several signature dining meals.

But who cares, we'll still be in Disney, in December enjoying all the beautiful decorations! It's just more time to enjoy the parks which is fine with me. DH is the one that I really plan the nicer dining for.

We finally told DD on Sunday and she was so excited. Especially that it was so close. Last time we told her about 45 days out and it was a long 45 days for all of us. This time her little countdown chart was only 13 days.

I'm just so happy and so excited that we decided to go ahead and go. This is going to be such a wonderful trip. I haven't been at Christmastime since I was a kid and I'm really looking forward to it!

So glad that you are getting to go. How exciting for your DD. My DH and myself will be there too. We are staying at POP Century. Maybe we will "bump" into you sometime along. There is nothing better than being at WDW at christmas.:santa:

I'm so happy that financially you are able to make the trip and enjoy the wonderful feeling of Christmas with Mickey. Even though you will be sacrificing a few TS $$ you will still be together and I know it will be a magical journey.

Thanks! I'm very excited. I've wanted to go see the parks at Christmas for so long. I enjoy the nice meals, but sort of in a take or leave it kind of way. I usually plan several because DH really enjoys them and I think its what makes the trip more enjoyable for him. But it was his idea to cut them out this time.

I am pretty content to spend my evenings enjoying the parks some more, but once you eat a big meal its hard to go walk around more. So I think the Christmas trip is the perfect time to do it this way. DH may not go back into the parks with us each night. He'll do MVMCP and probably the night we do fantasmic but then he'll probably relax at the hotel or something some of the evenings. He's just not as get up and go at Disney as I am. He likes to be a little more relaxed.

Is there a nice lounge at Wilderness lodge or somewhere that he could just relax and have a drink or something in the evenings?
