We're Celebrating our Marriage with a trip to Disney World! Itinerary final touches

Because we are arriving at 9:50 in the evening, and we were advised that if ME takes our bags, then we could be waiting for a while to get them when we'd like to be able to go to bed when we check in.

Oh okay, that makes sense :goodvibes

Definitely grab the bags yourself unless you don't need them till the following day. My hubby was insistent and they bring our bags and it was like 1:30am! I of course had in my carry-on clothes for the next day so didn't need our luggage but he wasn't listening when I said that... :confused3

Received more Mickey Mail today!! :woohoo:

This is kind of more what I was expecting when I got the ME stuff last week. This one was a little more exciting for me.

Also I went and got some more money changed into US funds. We will be mostly using cash on our trip, so we've been making a couple trips to the bank to switch it over, so we can't spend it on anything here, haha!

Seth and I went grocery shopping today, and I found him a really cute Mickey outfit while at Walmart.

I think he will look so cute in it when he's walking (hard to believe we're getting close to that!) around in the summer.

Getting so close!

Also, I just found out today that MK is going to be open really late on the last 2 night of our trip! On Saturday the 21st, it's open until 1:00am, and on Sunday the 22nd it's open until 2:00am!! I am so excited for this! Even though we have an early flight on the 23rd, we will still take advantage. We can always rest on the plane right?

That is the best kind of mail!! Those tags are real cute!!

Yay for more Mickey Mail!!

Very cute luggage tags. THey did not have those last year :goodvibes

Cute Mickey outfit :goodvibes

YAY for Mickey Mail!!!! Nice to see they have new luggage tags....the last couple years have been the same (they're nice too).

Very cute overall set!!!!!

 1 & 2am.....yikes, I plan on being fast asleep at those times of day....... (just goes and shows my age huh??) :rotfl:

The luggage tags are so cute, and we are definitely going to use them. :goodvibes

I couldn't resist on the outfit. I don't normally buy many clothes for Seth because my Mom always goes overboard (seriously, she has a problem!), but it was just so cute, and it was only $12, so why not? I have a hard time passing up Mickey, especially for Seth.

I am a night owl, so we will enjoy those hours I am sure....if we aren't exhausted since it's near the end of the trip, and we will probably be racing everywhere most of the days to see everything we can.

Oh, this is soooo adorable -- and will be just perfect for Animal Kingdom, esp playing in the Boneyard or on the Safari or riding the Jungle Cruise boats at MK, etc.

I love it!

You know I never even thought about that. It would be perfect for AK. I wish he was coming with us....I have no idea how we are going to spend a week without him. :sad2:

So for our first park day, we are going to be in MK and want to see both the Electrical Parade and the fireworks. Where is the best place to stand to see both and not have to move? Is there a spot by the hub/partners statue? Does it fill up fast? We have already planned to get a spot at LEAST an hour before the parade...will that be enough time for a prime spot?

Andrea, your time is going so fast!!

Oops! :flower3: I forgot, this is your Honeymoon!! Silly me!

Yes, you can see both really nicely from Main Street, esp the hub. Go on the right hand side of the hub and you can also see some of Tinkerbell flying, too.

An hour "should" be ok, but I would check on it about 1.5 hours prior, just to see how quickly spots are filling up, esp if you want a bench or curb.

Right hand side. Got it! I think we will head over there about an hour and a half or maybe even a little earlier, just to be sure. It pays off to have a good spot, I found that out a couple years ago at DL for World of Color and the fireworks.

So I took out my runners yesterday since I haven't warn them in a while, and I plan on using them for walking around the parks, along with a pair of sandals. Well we went for a 15 minute walk and they gave me nice big blisters on my heels. I hope it's just because I haven't warn them, and I hope that wearing them more doesn't just make it worse. I don't really want to have to go out and buy new shoes before the trip. :headache:

I ended up having to buy closed in shoes right before our trip. I went to Kmart and got myself some loafers and they were only $10 on sale. While they are not the cutest shoes in the world they are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned.

I agree with marshay:thumbsup2

That stinks

But you know what, better you find this out now, then while on your trip. Getting blisters at the park I am sure is awful :goodvibes

Oh... I hope you are able to find some shoes that work for you!! I ended up with blisters at DL! Don't forget moleskin!
