We're celebrating Christmas with Mickey...oh and Daddy too!

So myself and a couple other Disers thought it would be nice to share our scrapbook pages, to pass the time before park hours come out! I posted some on their TR's as well as my own...so that I don't hoard anyone else's TR!I hope you enjoy...and feel free to post your's as well!!!

These pictures are all from our trip in October!

I love all of those pictures!!!!

I started to scrapbook my last 6 months at Disney but then found I had well over 300 pages and no time so I put the book aside (maybe it can be used for the Dec trip?) and put them in an album instead :)

Love the scrapbook pages! Wish I had the patience for scrapbooking... All of my friends are into it and have begged me to jump on board, but I just can't! :confused3 I think I'm going to try and get into the digital scrapbooking? I'll just bring my laptop over whenever they have a get-together. :thumbsup2 I love that there isn't a mess to pick up afterwards too!

I have a strong feeling this is what I'll be doing with our next trip! I already have 19 pages and it's only day 3 of the trip :scared1: Someday I'm sure I'll get to it...but I still have to catch up on both of my kids albums!!!

I was much more into when I had my DD....she has a full book for the first three years of her life....then I got remarried, had another baby...and welll, not I have several books started for several different things and it's a mess! I've thought about getting into the digital scrapbooking too! My cousin does it through Creative Memories and LOVES it! I would also love for there to be no mess!

So I have nothing really to report today! I basically have just been sitting on those park hours...hopefully next week:wizard: I've been scoping out things at the store for the kids to do during the drive down to Disney! Jo-Ann Fabrics carries a TON of stuff for little kids...and Disney stuff at that! Plus my mom works within their building (not for Joann's), and gets a discount! I'm also still planning on doing little "tinkerbell surprises" for the kids each day we are down there! I had purchased some stuff awhile back from the dollar section in Target...but need some more ideas....especially for an almost 2 year old!!! This is what I purchased so far...

You are on the ball! Thanks for getting this scrap thing going! I love your pix and pages! Don't say you aren't going to do one this trip!

We are getting ready to make our countdown soon, too! Maybe this weekend??

I am doing a daily surprise for my kids, also. (Well it may not be daily, but a few at least.) Anyway, I am going to get each of them a $10 Disney gift card for one of the surprises and then $5 or $10 in Disney dollars when we get there as another day's gift. I figure we will be helping them out with their purchases anyway, so... That is kind of generic for boys/girls and any age. My oldest won't care about any of these things, but I have to give it to all of them if I give to one or two!! Oh, also maybe getting a pin or two when you get there or even off of ebay (super cheap deals). I don't know if your daughter started collecting them last year, but it is cheaper on ebay. You can even get ones that they may not like but are cheap and they can trade them. I know your little guy is young for them, but maybe to keep for him for the future?? Another one I was considering was some Disney treats (rice krispy, pops, etc.) Ok...that's all I've got!

Those are all some super great ideas! I had thought about the Disney Dollars too...I even thought about using those, instead of regular money for allowance/tooth fairy etc! Can you buy those at the local Disney Stores??

Great scrapbook pages and I  the countdown!
Thank you! It's not as "great" as I wanted it to be...but it does the job I suppose!!

Great scrapbook pages! I am so glad people are posting these to share. My very first scrapbook was our Disney vacation in May of 08. So I am still new at the whole thing and love getting ideas. I also like the mickey count down you did. Very cute.

Thank you very much! It's always so nice to see other people's ideas and a fresh look at things! I'm hoping tonight and tomorrow I can do some more work on my albums...we'll see how that goes! Feel free to post pictures from your album...I'd love to see them!

Hi there!! Your family are so cute :) I love all your plans so far and can't wait to hear more :surfweb: I'd love to start scrapbooking but i'm not very 'arty' so they would probably just end up looking a mess  Yours are lovely!! I love the huge countdown too, it must make you are really excited looking at that each day. I would LOVE to go to disney during december and see all the christmas decorations - that would be a dream trip for me!! Although, I would spend an absolute fortune in the shops - christmas items are my biggest obsession, as are snowglobes and anything related to Stitch :wizard:

Hi shelly- i am subbed!

Please thank your husband for his service- i've worked in the defense industry (for a night vision goggle company) for a while.

and your kids- they are so cute!!!!!

the trip sounds like a blast. DH and i stayed at CBR on our last trip in Aug 06. they have that new pool area now too that the kids can enjoy.

love the scrapbook pages and countdown calendar. i can't wait until DS is old enough to enjoy a countdown- right now, i'd be doing it just for me and DH would think i was pretty crazy, well he thinks that already anyways when it comes to disney! :confused3:rotfl: i'll have to take some pics of my pages and post on my PRT- so check back!

:rotfl:i am doing some daily gifts for DS too. We also plan to decorate our rooms with small christmas trees and our balconies with lights at the WL. at CBR or other mods, you have windows facing out where you can use holiday window clings- you should do that! we plan to decorate our doors some too- like we did on the recent DIS podcast cruise. it just makes it more fun coming back to teh room.

looking forward to hearing more!

Yes... you should be able to get them at a Disney Store. (We don't have one close...so I am waiting til we are there!!) It's a great idea to use it for teeth / allowance! I may have to work that in too!

Thank you so much for coming by! I loved reading your PTR so far! I was thinking of doing the Christmas tree and some decorations also! We did that for Halloween back in October when we were down there! Did some decorating and carved pumpkins on our off day! I love the idea of the decorations for the windows also! I think we will be doing that also!!!! Definitely take pictures of your pages...I would LOVE to see them!

We are heading to the Disney Store today...because DD has a dentist appt this afternoon and is getting her bottom teeth extracted! Those will be her first two to come out! We are also having a Disney Movie/Dinner night tomorrow night so I need to buy some stuff for that also!

Thank you! I'm hoping to be able to report a lot more next week...hopefully park hours will be out! It's always been a dream of mine to go during Christmas, and with my DH's leave from Iraq, it worked out perfectly! I'm a little bit nervous myself about the Christmas shopping...I tend to over do it sometimes:rolleyes1

Is officially annoyed...so I'm just going to vent a bit! DH turned in his TRAFT (basically a vacation request) over two weeks ago. It was returned to him earlier this week because he had to have an attached itinerary. This is a new procedure so he wasn't aware of that. But they basically told him it was good he just needed that. Well he turned it back in right away and we still have heard NOTHING! HELLO???? I WANT TO BOOK MY VACATION!

My DD had her bottom two teeth extracted this morning. One of her adult teeth had already grown in behind them, and since they weren't very wiggly, the dentist wanted to pull them out! She did great! She said she didn't feel anything and that it doesn't hurt! It's so weird to have my baby girl missing teeth! So the tooth fairy will be on her way tonight, for the first time in this house hold! I was hoping to do Disney Dollars, but unfortunately I don't think I'm going to make it to the store tonight :sad2: What's the going rate for teeth these days?

We also stopped at Walmart this morning because they often carry a lot of Disney clothes. So we checked that out and sure enough found some cute stuff for DD and DS on the clearance racks! :cool1: We have my dads company picnic tomorrow so we won't be around...but will probably have some pictures of that on Saturday :thumbsup2
