I have looked at our local doller stores but can't find them. Is there somewhere online I can order them and get them before May 27th. I would love to buy extra, so the kids could share at the night time parades and fireworks. I love to share a little of joy when we are at WDW. Thanks everyone!!!!

On Ebay you can get 100 x 8" bracelets (that can be combined into necklaces) for $12.95 with shipping included. You should be able to get those well before you leave for your trip.

My wal-mart is small but I found the glowing necklaces and glowsticks in three places there. Check in the party goods aisle, the camping supplies aisle and car accessories aisle.

Don't know if you have these stores in your area but I have always gotten them at either IPARTY or Ocean State Job Lot. Very good prices at both.

Dollar Tree had them when I was looking for them.

Oriental Trading Company has tons of them in different styles and colors.

I got 100 - 8" bracelets - assorted colors - $6.45 - that's $0.06 e
I got 25 - Glow rings - assorted colors - $7.99 - that's $0.31 e
They sell many other glow products and I recieved my order quickly. S&H was $7.14, but you can see how much S&H is for what ever your order would be.
They also have them at our Walmart in the party section, the camping section, and the toy section, but I wanted to have extras and this way was definately cheaper in the long run.
Have fun!

I recommend Ebay also.

Last year I won an auction for 50 tri colored necklaces for .99 cents, shipping was around $4. So $5 total, that made it ten cents per necklace. Great deal and we had plenty to hand out to other children (great opportunity for my kids to learn about sharing and making others smile.)

Just found Glow stick in a orintal trade cataloge...for what I though was a good price $10.95/doz. They are the 4" ones...or they also have the necklaces or braclets or a combo pack all for around $10.95/doz. With the diffrent shipping options it shouldn't be any trouble getting them before your date. But then again the sooner you need them the more in shipping will cost...

If you have a Target nearby check there. I found some at my Target last week in the aisle with the party supplies.

If you have a Party City near you I just bought necklaces, tri-colored necklaces and light sticks there today. They're not as reasonable as the dollar stores, but better than the parks. The necklaces were 4 for $6.00. I got necklaces at the dollar tree store , 2 for $1.00, but they didn't have the tri-colored ones.

At the Dollar Tree in my area they had all of the Glow Necklaces behind the Check out area. I just happened to look up and notice them.

I saw them yesterday at my local Target. They were in the aisle where the birthday party favors are. 1 or 2 aisle away from stationery dept.

Dollar Tree has packages of 4 for $1.

I bought the 100 multi colored with connectors from illuminationz for our trip last week. I think it was $12 or $13 including tax. The shipping was unbelievably fast! With the connectors the kids could make bracelets or necklaces -- and so we sat around making jewelry while the crowds started to walk out after Wishes at MK. Then after the crowd thinned a bit - our kids passed them out to other children-- our whole side of the monorail was glowing! My children say that was their favorite memory of the trip! They got to feel like Santa. Great fun for $13. Highly recommend!

I have been looking at Ebay and started to look at illimination after the reading the discussion in this thread.

I admit I do not know too much about glowing sticks. Are those glowing sticks from Ebay and illimination safe (for a 5 and a 3 years old)?

I have read discussion about people not having any problem when the stick broke. But those sticks from Ebay and illimination are really cheap and I am concerned that what I get for what I will pay for :)

The glow sticks are completely safe. My 5 and 3 year old kids love them.

Do all of them glow fairly bright? Does it matter where you buy them from (eBay, Target, Illuminationz, Dollar Store, Party Store) as to how brightly they glow or how long they last?
