We're booked for September 2008!!!!

YEAH!! I cannot believe it! We are booked on the 5 day cruise in September 2008 for our 20th anniversary. I am so excited I am jumping out of my skin! The only issue was that we couldn't getting the early dining but we are on a cancellation list. Has anyone ever been on "the list"--what was the outcome? Thanks to all of you that make this site terrific!!!

WOO HOO FOR YOU!!!! We had the later seating for dinner on our last cruise (requested it) and requested the later seating for this coming cruise on 9/1! We actually prefer it!! Doesn't matter ... you'll be on a Disney Cruise and that's all that matters!!!

We are also booked for the same cruise. When we saw that there were 2 days at Castaway Cay, we thought...why not? We're going on a 7 day Western in Feb. 2008, and couldn't pass up on that 5 nite cruise. It will be great!

We prefer late seating, so that is a non issue for us, however, I have read MANY stories on this, and it often works, and it often doesn't...It goes in order, so chances are if you are waitlisted this early, you "should" be ok..

If I had to have early, I would be calling DCL myself, or the TA I booked with, as I have also heard of it becoming available, and people not getting it. So I would take ownership of that..

I'm supposedly on the same wait list to get early dining. We are used to eating at 5 pm. 8 pm sounds too late to me.

I dont even know how I can check to make sure the TA actually put us on this so called wait list. It doesnt sound promising. Someone told me not to count on it.
