We're booked for Dec!!

Yay!! DH agreed to go in December, so we're now booked at GCH from Dec 12-16th. I was able to get the AP4 rate for the 12 &13th, but regular AP rates for the 14 & 15th. He did tell me to keep calling back to try to get the AP4 rates for the last two nights. He also mentioned we might have to switch rooms since we'll be basically checking out and rechecking in. People who have been in this situation - how often have they actually had you switch rooms. Is this something we might be able to work out on our first check in day or will it have to wait until the middle of our stay? I don't really care because we're going! And how often should I call back to check the AP4 rates?

I called back almost every morning until all 7 nights of our trip was available. It took about 7 or 8 calls. At one point, I had 4 separate reservations going. When the last night (in the middle of course) came available, they consolidated all the nights onto 1 reservation so that we would not possibly have to switch rooms. I "think" as long as all your revervations are for the same room type, that you would not need to change rooms.
