We had a great time and a great week. Weather was great. 80 degrees plus for 5 days in a row. Had some rain on Friday and Sunday but overall it has been some of the best weather we have had. marriott Cypress harbor was great. We ate at Disney Wispering Canyon, O'hanas, Lone star steak house, Bahama breeze. Flew in and out of Tampa. Great trip. let me know if you have any questions.

Glad you had a great time. :sunny:

May I ask, do you own at the Marriott, did you rent?? I was just looking at this property two minutes ago so it's kind of funny that you posted this.

How was the pool?? What was the second bedroom like? Two twins?? Would you stay there again??

Thanks Jeff.

We rented again although we "may" purchase here as we like the resort so much. It is a great resort. The second bedroom had a queen (i think) and a fold out couch. There is also a sleeper couch in the main room. Our unit was just remodeled and it was very nice. They did everything except the double sink in the master and they should have done that. We had a forth floor unit that overlooked the lake. Very nice. the pools are great. All heated, we spent most of our time there. We used the main pool (frog pool) the most. We call it the frog pool because it has 4 spitting frog sculptures. You can also pick up a water volleyball game there. They often had musicians there playing vacation music and food and fun nearby. there is an island section which has another pool with a waterfall. We visited there a couple of times. There is a third "quiet" pool which we didn't visit. It is a great resort. We will stay there again as the family likes this resort best of all the resorts we have stayed at.

I would love a Marriott - but can't afford a Marriott and DVC - however go send a PM to Dean (over on the DVC boards) before you buy.

Marriott are great - but Orlando Marriott don't trade as well as other Marriott and there maintence fees are greater.

I would go with a HH Marriott and trade to Orlando.

You would probably get 2 weeks for your one trade and better maintence fees.

I'm so glad you had a great time and great weather!!
My DH2B wants to go to O'hana for the atmosphere. How was it? We are going down in May for our honeymoon and I'd like to surprise him with dinner there one night. Was the food good? Was it worth the money?

Thanks for any info you can give.

I've seen Marriott units go for good prices on eBay so that is probably were I will shop. We don't trade our timeshares. We stay in the resorts we own so we don't have to pay the member fee or the trade fee.

As for O'hanas, I think it has the best food of the all you can eat meals. They serve you all the shrimp, steak, pork, and turkey you can eat. The sides are all good and the pineapple and hot carmel for dessert is great along with a hot towel to clean yourself up. the food at whispering canyon wasn't as good. We also ate at the rainforest at DD and had a nice meal there.
