SWA, It was fun while it lasted.

I’ve pretty much flown SW exclusively (with some United), but not necessarily because I loved it. I flew AirTran exclusively before (best prices), and when SW bought them they had non stop flights for the places I frequent most often. Luckily it’s also been the best price too.

I’ve never liked the boarding process. We don’t check bags so that has never been a perk. I hear a lot of good about JetBlue, but from Pittsburgh every time I look at flights with layover they seem excessively long. Delta is usually too expensive, and while American doesn’t seem bad, alot of times their connections are way too tight for my liking.

So pretty much nothing will change for me. I’ll look non stop first, and compare price/time to other airlines with a layover.
Fellow Pittsburgher here in the same boat. I was looking at other airlines for late February, they are all crazy high and no nonstops (not looking at Spirit or Frontier). Delta is over $700. My hope is they will drop. I have SW flights for late October and they have dropped pretty low, 15,500 points round trip.
