We arrived back home Sunday evening after a fantastic week:)

I never got round to doing a pre-trippie mainly due to the fact that I was still franticly packing at 2 am on the Friday night ready to leave Saturday morning. Altho we didn't get the Eurostar until Monday we needed to be in Shrewsbury and then Sutton Coldfield on the Saturday and then travel to Ashford on the Sunday.

Had a fantastic time, but very cold. I was a bit concerned before we went that Gracie (14 months) would be a bit over awed by the size of the characters - how wrong I was, lol, couldn't keep her off them!

I will get round to doing a trip report - honest - but bear with me as it will be my first attempt!! I've also manged to leave the usb cable for the camera at my parents house when we came back so I'm waiting for that to arrive in the post before I can add pics!

No major problems or complaints about the trip just a couple of small niggles (one of which is already sorted:thumbsup2 ) but nothing that really detracted from the trip. I'll explain in my TR.

Did I mention it was fantastic???

Well must go and get on with the washing :laundy: and hopefully get to start my TR later today.

WELCOME BACK :wave2:

Glad you had a great time and I am really looking forward to the trip report.

I am pleased that Gracie had fun meeting the characters, Kacee was about the same age when we went and I thought the same but I couldn't have been more wrong!

Welcome back - sounds like you all had a fabby time :goodvibes

Welcome back, sounds like you had a great trip:thumbsup2

Glad to hear you had a great time :thumbsup2

welcome back. im glad you had a great time. cant wait for the trippie!!! how cold was it?? im getting worried about that lol

We were lucky to only have rain on the Weds morning and Sat morning , we all felt the cold on Weds mainly due to being damp!

I had leggings, jeans, vest, t'shirt, a fleece or chunky roll neck jumper and a regatta jacket (waterproof with detatchable inner fleece) on and was comfortable. I also wore a hat and scarf most of the time plus gloves as my hands got really cold pushing the pushchair. The boots I took with me had a fluffy furry lining, I only wore one pair of socks and I never had cold feet - which suprised me as normally during the winter at home I have 2 pairs on with slippers! Little Un was very snugg in snowsuit and cosy toes in the pushchair - but she just wont keep gloves on!

Really noticed the cold when standing waiting for the parade and queing for meet and greets etc. Also the wind made it worse, it felt positively warm when the wind dropped!!

The SL is very warm, I took my fleecy bed top and pj's but I ended up in just the pj top as the rooms are so warm.

Welcome back, certainly sounds like you had a fabulous time. Can't wait to read your trip report.

i have bought ski jackets for us all. and leggings for under my pants so hopefully it will be ok for us.

i will keep my eyes peeled for a pirate with a tigger for a baby :rotfl:

LOL! No doubt I'll be looking frantic as well.

Can't believe that I've said I'll take Kacee on my own...there isn't even any baby changing facilities in any of the blokes toilets

Welcome back

Sounds like you had a great trip.Looking forward to reading your TR
