DH was just really stressed about getting back as he has an important event he needs to attend tomorrow for work whereas I could have easily cancelled my work plans and stayed

Hiya and welcome back! So glad to read you had a (generally) lovely trip and that your daughter had fun for her birthday! Really looking forward to reading your TR (hungry for every tiny detail at the moment - we go on 22nd Dec and sick of everyone at work going on about how Christmas is just round the corner when it seems a lifetime away to me! ). I'll get practicing my Main Street glide to Silent Night to keep me calm....

Dare I ask what happened with Air France - we're flying out with them from Edinburgh.... and I'm not starting to panic... much! Last time we went with Easyjet and it was pretty smooth sailing. Was it a one-off thing or were they just generally awful?

I'll be travelling with a hyper 3 year old , an easily-grumped DH , 3 cases , a buggy and probably my wheelchair so not looking forward to any hassle from AF or they'll feel my mad Scottish Christmas wrath, useless legs or not!

The problem was that they decided to strike and cancelled flights - theres more info about the hassle we had on the air france strike post and also a new post today about the compensation we have received

I wouldnt worry - we've flown with them several times and this is the first time we've had any problems
