We're back! Some trip highlights!

Hi everyone, we're back -- did you miss me?

We went on our June 3-June 12 WDW trip, and we really enjoyed it. If some of you will remember, I sprained my ankle 3 days before the trip. Here are some highlights from the trip:

• Took DD's friend & the girls were such a pleasure to be around
• Got to meet Anne/Ducklite and had a really enjoyable evening with her.
• Got to meet Tour Guide Mike & some folks from his board, plus JennaTX
• Ate way too much
• Had a blast
• On the way home, had the plane ride from H-E-double hockey sticks.

I hope everyone's been behaving in my absence.

Unfortunately, I didn't really spot any DISers, although I did look for them. I had green Mickey heads on my camera case and waist pack, but nobody commented on them. I did see a Mickey head on a door at AKL, so I signed the door -- hopefully will find out who it was. I also saw someone with a lime green head on a waist pack, but she was in a hurry to get somewhere, so I couldn't catch up. If you see this,

We were there the same time that you were
I saw one man holding a baby w/ a lime green Mickey head on his backpack.............we were on the train & he was too far ahead for me to talk to though.

I'm sorry to hear about your ankle, but I'm glad to hear you had a good trip. It would be cool to meet TGM!

I had a lime green Mickey on my backpack when we were there and I didn't meet any Dis'ers. I'm going to do the same again for my next trip. Dd is the Queen of Spotting Hidden Mickeys, and if there is a lime green Mickey nearby, she'd be sure to spot it!

Now you'll have to start planning your next trip.

Thanks guys! We did have a great time and I'm already so depressed to be home. It doesn't help matters any that I had a letter waiting for me that said my financial aid has been cancelled because I went over my "attempted" hours for graduate school. I'm pretty confident I can get it back, but I'll be jumping through a ton of hoops to get it.

I'll be working on my trip report this week too. That'll help keep the trip alive.

Marseeya, I'm right there with you! We went from the 4th-9th, and I am so depressed right now. I guess that means it's time to start planning the next trip. funny, I saw so many people wearing lime green, but I never saw anyone with a Mickey tag on their bag, or anything saying "Disboards" or anything like that. I think lime green must now be a really popular color to spot others in...unless they were all disboarders, that would be a lot!

Anyway, glad you had a good time!
