More later...

what setting do you use to the pic of the firework?

Jumping on board. Great stuff so far.
First Poly stay in 60 days!!!
;)

Your TR is great! Love the pics. I have never eaten at the Cantina, how is it?

is the battery charged yet :) we need more!!!!!!!!

Still loving this TR! I've never eaten at the Electric Umbrella before, so now I'm definitely going to have to try it! I'll be getting the kid's meal of course.

More coming tonight....it's been a little crazy around work today :-( ...btw, is there anything more depressing than the week after a WDW trip? (as far as trip letdown goes)

Oh and I though the cantina was excellent for the price....and the firework setting was just the normal night setting on the DS 1000. The key was letting the camera auto pick the brightest point of the firework just before the pic is taken.

OT: Congrats on your pregnancy!

Day 5

My family has sort of a love / hate relationship with the AK. We love the park itself. It is easily the most intricate and detailed park of the four. We had the opportunity to see Joe Rohde at the AK 10th anniversary last april and it made us appreciate the park even more. We hate the park because it feels like it fights us constantly with the unbelievable heat, tiny / crowded walkways, and the somewhat unfinished nature of the park. Some day this will be an unbelievable park. For now we have to settle for the these pics.

How 'bout 'em rhinos! Leaving death valley, we head for respite from the heat to the MK for the Dreams come true parade. I know its a creaky old parade that has overstayed its welcome....but doggone it, I love it!

It's Dinner at the MK and tonight and its between Comic Ray's and Casey's. Having passed through earlier in the day and smelled the wonderful aroma of the 100% all beef hot dogs, it was no contest. A breezy, nice late afternoon dictated a dinner outside during the castle show. BTW, am I the only one who thinks that show goes on forever! Anyway, in this case it was perfect.....the show music in the background, a hotdog in my hand, and a large cup of ice full of the drink we brought in made for a perfect disney dinner.

We kill off the rest of the night with spectromagic ( the most un-photogenic parade ever) and one more explosive stop by wishes.

We'll wipe the smoke off the camera and continue tomorrow.

Great report and... just wow! Amazing pics!

More, please!!!

I would love to meet Joe Rhode - how wonderful you got to see him at the AK anniversary!

We end the trip where we began.....well not really, I just liked using that as the opener. Beautiful weather, no crowds, and Epcot make for the greatest theme park going experience possible. The day began with one last trip around future world.

This was far and away the best WDW trip we have had in quite a while. I think much of that had to do with our resort location. Everything was just so much more hassle-free having the monorail close by. The all counter service trip also helped reduce stress as we were able to essentially eat when we wanted to and not have to worry about our ressies. Crowds!! Where was everybody?? I have never see WDW so empty. I was really worried heading in this trip that we were wearing out the parks and lessening the magic of the resort by returning so often. Not the case. Every trip is so different because of just the little details. The little things that don't really show up in the TR.
