We're back from HK Disney

We stayed in a fantasy room in the fabulous Disneyland Hong Kong Hotel and spent 2 and a half days in the park which was small but beautiful. It wasn't busy while we were there so waits were short. i'll save the rest for my trip report.

I cannot wait to read your trip report! DH will be in HK again this summer, and because he cannot get any time of work for a WDW trip, we were discussing making a trip to HK Disneyland whilst he was out there. I've just started pricing everything up

wideeyes, I'm sure your DH will love it. You can do it in a day if you get there early and use fast pass. The hotel we stayed at is more luxurious than the Hollywood Hotel but they are ony about a 5 minute walf from each other. There's a sea promonade linking them. Word of warning, the promised ferry link isn't working yet but there is a rail link.

DH and I are visiting Hong Kong in December and are planning to spend the first two days at the park. My only concern is, we're getting in on the 24th and would be doing the park on the 25th - Christmas. Any idea whether it's as nuts as the parks here are at that time? I do know the 23rd switches from regular to premier season and the hotel rates are higher, so I anticipate crowds. But will it be a situation like Orlando where you have to go in early and camp out all day? Either way, we're going, but just wonder what to expect.
