Shame about Inventions as you were really looking forward to it, at least Cafe Mickey lived up to expectations. looking forward to reading your trip report xx

Sorry to hear about the lows, especially the *nasty word* incident and Elsie. I know everyone moans about it on here, but had anyone ever done a petition type thing to management ? Even something easyish, like a FB page where people can record their experiences and photo's. Just a thought

Do you mind if I pry a bit more about Inventions ? My friend is a bit at the price, which isn't surprising given the amount and whilst I really, really want to go, I would it to be disappointing. What time were you booked for? Which room / area, did you get seated in?

Did you do Auberge too? Or is that a secret to for the trip report

We did Auberge was lovely very nice we were there for over 2 hours was really calm and relaxing! Didnt feel rushed!

Inventions we were sat in a room to the Right quiet a large room beautiful view of the train station! we were booked in at 7.30 we were there till 10 ish!

Glad you had a great time, looking forward to the TR and more cute pics of your DD!

Such a shame about the smoking, so many people (in Disney and elsewhere) can be so inconsiderate

There are lots of picks hope to start the TR on Sunday after Elsie's birthday!

Did you notice by any chance if Buzz pizza planet was open?

Was it on the right as you went into Inventions or the left? Was it a large round room?

If it is then that is the room we were in (and mostly in there for breakfasts too - it does have a fab view!). We found that lots of characters came in to see us when we were in there but it was very busy and full so I expect they had to!!

I didn't do a TR of my last trip (which I am regretting now as I can't remember things as well as I could!). I have vague recollections of sitting in another room to the left (rectangular room) in Inventions too - almost as you went in . I think, we must have eaten at Inventions twice on our last trip ??? What am I like! Teach me to do a TR .

Yes you would check in walk right it had a door that lead to California grill!
Straight ahead was a very small room left was the buffet which I think had another room joined to it! I didn't see it but when we were getting food I could hear some one was having a birthday cake! X

It wasn't a bad meal I will explain in TR but I had got myself so excited for it I was really disapointed! We only saw goofy, Donald, geppetto even though Mickey, Minnie, chip, dale and Pluto were there we there for 3 hous nearly trying to drag it out hoping to see some characters the atmosphere was nothing compared to cafe Mickey!

I know so many love Inventions but it sounds like we had a similar experience.
We were very disappointed with the character interactions especially for such an expensive meal.

Glad that the set of your holiday had so much highs
