Back after an amazing holiday! I'm so gutted we're back to freezing cold
weather
Every day was hot, no rain until we were leaving Sanford on our last day!
Highs: Everything! Discovery cove was amazing, MNSSHP, our gorgeous villa with private pool we used all the time. Weather, Boma, and of course our wedding! So much more but I'm working on a trip report with everything in it
Couple of lows: Only one, our return flight. We got a broken chair with broken tray which meant our food slipped about everywhere. We got awful people behind us who were loud, kept their lights on during the night when everyone was trying to get their children sleeping playing ipad game with the volume up. The staff were rude an ignored our requests, at one point I asked for some sugar and they told me they had run out so would ask another steward when they had finished serving, to then pass a person in front a sachet of sugar straight after!
My new sunglasses, which I'd just bought, and were one of the few things I bought myself, and were the ONLY pair I'd ever found that suited me rolled down the plane and a nice man handed them in to the staff, who told him they could be collected at the end of the flight...when I went to collect them the crew denied all knowledge of having any sunglasses handed in! I told them I saw them but they said they would only investigate if I knew which staff member he handed them into by name, by then everyone had left the plane so I couldn't ask, although if I handed anything in I wouldn't think to ask their name! Which means a member of staff on MON348 on Thursday/Friday stole them. I'm going to have to complain on Monday.
The Monarch flight out was fine so I can't blame them totally, mainly their staff on the return flight!
Other than that and a very funny story involving the police on our arrival day it was perfect, amazing, and I'm so upset to not be there any more

, I certainly would be complaining as well.
It sounds like you had a great trip! Sorry that it didn't end very well! I would definitely follow the incident with the sunglasses up with Monarch!
