I didn't expect so many replies! I'll try to answer everyone's questions....
The Plaza is a hidden gem in the Magic Kingdom - at the end of Main Street, across the street from Casey's corner. We really enjoyed it! The menu is small, but the food was delicious. We did not try a dessert this time, but lots of people around us did and they looked great!
We love the Prime Time eat here every trip. I had the meatloaf and it was WONDERFUL! Mom had the fried chicken and really enjoyed it, too. Our "Uncle Dave" was pretty funny - got onto DH about his elbows on the table, called DS "
Scooter", funny little things like that. When DH didn't eat his root vegetable hash (the only thing there no one liked!) Uncle Dave did the airplane thing to make him take a bite. It's a lot of fun there. Sometimes we get servers that are not as "into it" as other times, but it's still a good time and a good meal.
Olivia's was quite good also - we actually ate there twice in one day (lunch AND dinner!). For lunch I had the crab cakes which were awesome, and for dinner I had the Caesar salad with grilled chicken, which was also very yummy. This place is also small, and without an ADR (what was I thinking?!?) we had to wait an hour. But it was OK - we got drinks from the Gurgling Suitcase and sat outside and enjoyed them while we waited. Kids played in Community Hall. All was good.
We always eat at Chef Mickey's on our first night, and it was as good as it always is for us (which is a positive thing because we do keep going back!). I think the food is good and you can't beat the character interaction (beats standing in line for photos and autographs in the parks). It's always a fun start to our vacation. Little kids would love it (mine are older now - 12 and 9 - but still enjoy going!).
We loved, loved, loved the WCC! The food was very good (we ordered off the menu instead of opting for the skillet meal) and the antics were hilarious! We were celebrating DS's b-day and they brought him a little cake and announced his b-day to the dining room - then 3 of the servers proceeded to sing to him WAAAAY off key - but half-way thru the song they snatched his cake right out from in front of him and snarfed it up!! It was SO FUNNY! They, of course, gave him another one, but the look on his face was priceless. BTW, be sure to ask for ketchup.
Pizzafari and ABC Commissary - both of these were quick lunches for us, but I liked them both. Nothing special about either, but both were tasty. I had the noodle bowl at the Commissary and I liked it - my mother, however, did not. Still not a bad meal, tho.
I think that covers all the questions - if I missed anything or ya'll think of anything else, just let me know!
