OMG, trip reportSSSSS?? WHEN am I ever going to do the first trip report? I won't have time before our trip. We are going to have to do one of those two-person trip reports. We'll post in different colors but on the same thread. Oh look at me just telling you what you are going to do. Bossytweedle!

You realize, of course, that if we do a joint one, you will just end doing it all because I am the world's SLOWEST trip reporter EVAH. I am, however, bound and determined to FINISH that dang cruise one before I set foot on the airplane to Orlando. I have like 3 posts left, I can do it!!!!

I also need to figure out how and where to write Hawaii one on these boards without getting booted. Since it will, literally, have NO Disney in it.. I can't justify any of the Trip Report boards. Maybe I just bury it in my Cruise one.

Sounds like a plan! I think I'm actually going to do the Playlist one HERE, in this PTR. I'm not sure I would feel like it was enough Disney or UO to do a whole TR??

I guess we'll have to see how many pics I take...AS IF! Actually, I'm worried I can't keep up with my normal obsessive-million-picture-taking-skillz for this trip. I'm not sure I have it in me. I've sort of gotten bored with photography lately...maybe that's just b/c I'm not at WDW though, maybe I will be INSPIRED by UO!

Whooohooo! Busy day yesterday but right in the middle of it, corrals were released!

I'm in corral G, which fits with the time I submitted pretty much as I expected. I was in F last year but they normally put GSC runners back a corral because they figure we'll go a bit slower doing two races. Actually, looking at the regular PHM corrals, I think I would have JUST been in G this year too if I was doing the PHM, which makes sense, I felt a little slow in F last year when we took off!

My Tweedle is in the corral right behind me so I plan on going to the back of mine and hope she can squeeze her way up to the front of hers so we can hang out before the start!

I have 5 days to get things in order here for the first Orlando trip and I'm not ready! I have my suitcase out but have no idea what I'm bringing and have just realized I don't really have much warm weather clothes to wear.

I might not need it if the forecast continues! They are saying 65 for our first full day next Friday and then 61 Saturday...the day I planned on laying by the pool. It better change!

Also, our MB's arrived and Tweedle sent me a pic!

and yesterday my BFF, Hope, gave us a gift for our trip...

We also finally got some time to hang out and talked a ton about Universal, so I'm feeling more prepared, at least with an idea of where everything is and the order we'll try to do things on our day there!

Sorry, not a very witty or funny update...what can I say, the cat woke me up at 3am and I got nothin'

20 freaking days- I got downright giddy yesterday just thinking about it. 20 days seems very long right now because I'm so excited... but then I remember how much stuff I have to get done before then (work wise) and I'm not as giddy because 20 days doesn't seem long enough!

Hey, are you bringing your big camera? I am thinking I'm not going to but then I'm thinking-"hey Tweedle Dum, you are in a Savannah view room dummy...and you need that zoom, so bring it!' So I probably will. Inner voice is telling me I'll regret if I don't.

Also this weekend I will pull together my final costume and maybe finally take pictures of myself in them.

UH YES, I'm bringing my camera, who do you think you are dealing with here? You will be so sick of said-camera by halfway through the weekend! It might as well be superglued to me when I'm at Disney and you will have to adjust to me stopping every FIVE SECONDS to take random shots of signs and every tiny detail I notice. I even considered taking it during the 10K, but realized that's a bit loco. I will bring my zoom lens as well (which I don't usually use) because I left it at home last time I was at AKL (WHYYYYYYY?!?!?) so I want those animal shots!

I'm also bringing a cheap point and shoot to take during the races. I can use my phone for some pics but want a camera too. It's actually an issue for me during a race b/c I want decent pics from the point and shoot but know that if I don't take some with my phone I can't immediately (or that day at least) upload them to FB or Instagram...so I'm constantly having this battle with whether to use the phone or the camera and end up holding one in each hand!

You didn't realize you signed up for THIS much crazy, did you???

Yeah, you might wanna finish up the costume and I'm tired of waiting for pics! Get your Tweedlebutt in gear!

I wasn't going to, I was just going to wear my garmin for our intervals but leave my headphones back at the room, I figured I wouldn't need music...BUT, if you need it, I'm cool with that, I can bring mine and just have the music low. That's what I did (and will do) for the half. My guestimate is that we'll be in corral B for the 10K. I guess we could be in C, but I'm doubting it unless there are more people doing the 10K this year. That should give us a good cushion to stop however often we want!

Do you have any characters you really want to stop for? I could care less (well, I definitely want to stop if we find any Alice characters) but on top of character stops I want some pics of World Showcase, Boardwalk, mileage signs, Anna & Elsa on the overpass...I figure I can get ALL my race pic obsessiveness out on the 10K and then won't need to take AS MANY during the 1/2!

I don't have any MUST stops that I think will be out- obviously Tweedles- but I doubt they'd be out for the 10K. Any characters in a special outfit would be cool (but lines likely very long). Any Alice characters I think we should stop for (White Rabbit, Queen, Alice, Tweedles). Like the Mileage sign idea. Pretty much I'm game for anything. My only real must would be characters that compliment the Tweedles storyline!

We are renting DVC and had a third runner that was going to come with us. It turned out she didn't register for the race after all but they never took her name off, so we have an extra MB! I figured we could use the MB as a Tweedle Master in case we get so drunk we lose our other MB's!

I was wondering if your friend was still coming! I had not heard you say and then I saw the picture of the bands...I too have an extra one. There was just no way I could like Debra off the reservation, just made me to sad.

I am taking a point and shoot too for the half...I even sewed a pocket under the sparkle tier of my apron panel for easy access...my sparkleskirt pockets will be full of other stuff!

I also want to put together a "CUPCAKE" video of our trip, so I am expected the :worship photographer to take a few good pictures to share...can you handle it? I have a family that cant stand to stop for me either...darn killjoys!

We are getting way too close...so many little things to wrap up!

I'm off to Florida today for the first leg of my FebuaryFlorida adventure! I'm pretty excited just to have a week off from petsitting, I haven't had more than a handful of days off in the last year, so I'm going to enjoy every second! It looks like they are getting a ton of rain tonight and tomorrow morning (we don't arrive until mid-day.) and then the weather looks AMAZING! I'm looking forward, not in any particular order, to: sunshine! palm trees, magic kingdom, drinks by the pool, Universal, seeing my girl have a blast at the convention, DTD, and running in warmer weather!



Have a great week! I can finally check the DIS on my phone but it's hard to type, so I probably won't update until I get back...hopefully with loads of photos! Off to drive 17 hours.

P.S- I had THREE dreams about the race last night. They were all continuing.... first one I was running the 10K but inside a building...and with my SIL who I left behind. Then I was running the Marathon... first part I overslept and had to run to my corral. Second part I apparently decided to find a magazine and read a whole article in the middle of the race and then realized how much time I lost. All three dreams had the underlying fear of me running on a bad knee.........

I woke up stressed.

Anyways... SAFE TRAVELS.

And... Because who knew there was an Ewok icon?
