Congradulations on his birth and health. Don't, for a minute, beat yourself up over the birth not being "natural." I have had three - two were induced and one came when she was ready (right on the kitchen floor - about as natural as it gets!) I enjoyed my first DD's birth much better because I had an epidural.
He is healthy and that is all that counts.

Go get some rest and savor every moment. Remember, you cannot spoil a newborn by holding them, so learn to type with one hand and enjoy him.

Congratulations!! I hadn't posted before, but you can tell your dh that even with that many replies there are more of us out there who have been praying for you and waiting for news. I'm happy to hear you are doing well.

I had prepared for a natural delivery and was very overwhelmed at first when I realized that all of my plans were falling apart, but we got a wonderful boy, and I'm completely satisfied.

This is the BEST attitude in the world to have - you had all of the priorities in place - safe delivery/healthy baby #1, everything else a distant second!!
