Because of me overdoing everything I got so stress out that I ended up in the hospital on the day that I was to leave for Orlando...

To begin with I have a tumor and I have what is called a VP Shunt, I have my limitations but I wanted this trip to be "perfect"
I got tickets for almost all the atractions to Orlando, I will spent 10 hrs in my computer looking for information and tips for my trip.I had so many fights with my husband; then I got in this mood that I did not feel the magic anymore, a day or so before the trip I went to Target(like a madwoman) to get what I needed for my trip then the morning that we were to go to the airport I got so sick that the taxi took my husband, my kids and I to the ER I had two spinal taps to relieve the pressure in my brain and I was in the hospital for few days(came out today) all that I kept telling everybody in the hospital was that "I have to go to Disney" until one doctor asked me what was more important my life or disney....I cried all the time in the hospital just thinking that everything was lost that my vacations plans were destroy...Today
I called the airline(song) and explained my situation and they asked me for the doctor's name and tel number and told me that they will call me back...they called me back and told me that I have 30 days to use my tickets with no penalties (Oh joy!!)I called the resort and I called disney and got the same response, no penalties or extra charge< I cannot believe that we are back on track>We leave for Orlando this Friday , I promised myself that I will not over do things no more and that I will take things slow, that if we do not get to see everything there will be other trips...
Sorry that this is long, but I just wanted to share this with you all ..
... sometimes overdoing things will get you a trip to the ER

I am happy you are back on your feet and that your vacation was saved! God has his eyes on you. Enjoy! :)

Take it slow and have a MAGICAL trip.

You need to take it easy and just enjoy the Magic. Glad to hear everything worked out for you.

Thank you all!!!!

Thank you all for your support...but I begin to wonder about this trip.

I just got in touch with Song Airlines(called them to confirm) and they told me to reschedule my trip for Sunday because they might have to cancel all the flights from friday and possible saturday(depends on the weather) as of now they still have friday flights but advise people to be aware of possible changes and/or cancellations. I had to laugh, this is too much bad luck for me; maybe a sign that this trip is not for me!!!!!

WHAT TO DO????

Don't believe for a second that you have had "bad luck." You have had good luck. If you had gone without the "tap," you might have keeled over on the Dumbo ride ::MickeyMo and spent your vacation in an Orlando hospital. And if you had rescheduled any sooner, you might have been stuck in your room during a hurricane.:umbrella:

Your good luck will hold: The airline is holding a flight for you and the resort is holding a room for you. ::MinnieMo There are many people who wish they'd had that kind of luck. You were delayed for a reason, and now you're going to go when the weather clears. That's great luck!

Go, go, go, and enjoy it!

You sound like me. I am 49 and just took my first WDW trip w/ my 13 yo son in June. WE CANNOT WAIT TO GET BACK.

First and foremost I want to send my prayers your way and ask that all Gods Angels watch over you so that you have as wonderful a time as planned.

Take it slow, don't waste mental energy that you will need once there...just keep telling yourself that its all going to work out just fine.

I'm hoping you have a blessed trip and quick recovery.
