Went to see Shrek 2 and.....

It was sold out for the 2 pm session, so I have to go back at 4 now. That's ok though, I already got my tickets so I will be watching it later!

We loved this movie....thought it was better than Shrek1 if you can believe it. One word of advice....STAY IN THE THEATER WHEN THE CREDITS START ROLLING AT THE END.....you will find out what happened to the donkey and the dragon

We went Saturday and had to wait, too, but it was WELL worth the wait. Michael and I are still laughing at some of the lines!

What?!?! Darn, totally missed that.

Princess.......dont want to give it away but I found out about this by accident by a co-worker whos son works in the theater here.A lot of people got up and left when the credits started to roll. All I can say is It closed the mystery as to what became of the dragon.I dont want to spoil it for anybody who hasnt seen it but it was very funny. Maybe the theaters should start telling people to not to leave right away.

Oh, it's okay. I'm sure I will see that movie again, probably soon. There are so many random references that I"m sure we missed some the first time. It's just another date that DH will have to take me on!

But that would help, I was wondering what happened to the Dragon.

Awwww.. we just got home from seeing it and didn't stay until the final credit rolled. I, too was wondering what happened to the dragon!

Just got back from Shrek2, it was great!

My sister was out of town this weekend and called me today to ask just WHAT was all this about Shrek??? I told her I have NEVER laughed like that at a movie and just GO. She watched the stars on Oprah and was shocked to hear that Antonio Banderas was the surprise hit of the show. I told her just GO. I personally cannot wait for the DVD! There is so much going on and a second or third watch will allow you to see everything!

Well I do, based on what I've read!

Last week Reuters reported that Jeffrey Katzenberg, co-founder of DreamWorks, announced at the Cannes Film Festival that work had already begun on Shrek 3 and Shrek 4. Now Moviehole has more details on what Katzenberg said.
“Before the first one was finished we talked about what the whole story of Shrek is, and each of the chapters answers questions about the first movie and gives us an insight.

“Shrek 3 and 4 are going to reveal other unanswered questions and, finally, in the last chapter, we will understand how Shrek came to be in that swamp, when we meet him in the first movie. There is a reason he came to be there, but there is another chapter to the story before that.”

I'm glad to hear that some thought has apparently gone into the overall Shrek story and that Dreamworks isn't just planning on cranking out sequels that make little sense.

SO, I didn't like the first Shrek at all. Sorry. But I absolutely LOVED Shrek 2!!! I think my favorite thing about it was all the story book characters. The lines were so cleaver. I LOVED it and I saw it twice in the first three days it was out!
