HI! I was able to go to Pop Century last week and see the resort. Let me say it is really neat. It's on the scale of the All Stars but the theme is so much better...in my opinion and I am no expert. The most interesting thing I thought was the food court/merchandise shop! Very cool! I just wanted everyone to know that the resort is cool. While there I noticed they were starting to build a new phase of the resort for the 1900's to the 50's.

Thanks for the report!

We'll be there in just 3 1/2 weeks :)

I ate breakfast there yesterday, my brother who is a phone operator got a free test night. The food court was large and clean, the food was pretty good, lots of selections, typical Disney prices.

I'm planning on staying there late April....am waiting to hear from people about best room locations (closest to pool, main hall) w/o paying preferred. I can't wait to see it!!!!

I hear the 60's buildings are the preferred. My brother stayed in the 50's building and it was very close to the main building.

Did you guys notice if they had any sugar-free deserts at the food court?

I didn't see any "sugar-free" items specifically, but there was a low-carb cheesecake. No one I was with had it though, so I don't know if it's any good!

There is a good variety of items in the food court though.

In regards to rooms, there is no building that is ridiculously far away. All them are pretty close in, which is nice. 60s is right in front of the main building, but 50s is very close as well.
