The construction wasn't very intense for the Star Wars land when I was there before, but I am wondering if anything else has changed to make any changes in terms of procedures or policies. Anything change to fast pass or anything else? Thank you for your help.

February 2017 is still a pretty long way off and a lot can change between now and then. I would ask this question again much closer to the date of your trip to get the latest information on security, FPs, etc. Those things can (and sometime do) change with very little notice.

In terms of Star Wars construction, you can see what's been happening over on the DisneyGeek.com blog. By next February, they should be well on their way converting ToT to the Guardians of the Galaxy overlay, so you're bound see some construction over there.

What where your travel dates last February?

My son and I will be there jJan 31 to Feb 4 and I'm trying to figure out the weather and what clothing to bring. We usually have snow and I believed temps in 40's F (5 C) average high.

It can be really warm and it can be not so warm. You'll want to bring jackets and sweatshirts I'm sure for early mornings and at night. Day times are typically very nice. We've gone in Feb and had it pour rain on us, and on another trip in Feb we wore shorts the whole time.

Disney is moving the security check points on the DtD side from where they are now by La Brea Bakery to M&F, between ESPN Zone and EOS, and by ESPN Zone and Rainforest Cafe. These new checkpoints should be up and running by the end of this year, so there may be new security rules by the time of your visit. Keep watching here on these boards for updates.

That sounds like they'll need to set up additional check points at the Grand Cali entrance to DtD. That might cause some pain.
