Not sure if this has been posted before, but I have only just seen it





The Glass Bridge Construction of the Skywalk began March of 2004 and is estimated
to be completed by 4th quarter of 2006.

Glass Bridge will be suspended 4,000 feet above the Colorado River on the very edge
of the Grand Canyon . On May 2005, the final test was conducted and the structure
passed engineering requirements by 400 percent, enabling it to withstand the weight
of 71 fully loaded Boeing 747 airplanes (more that 71 million pounds).

Would you walk on this?

Not in a million years! Im terrified of heights and I know that I walked on that I would probably have a panic attack!

Yes I think I would have a go and DH definitely would, we were disappointed about the delay as hoped to have seen it in July when we were at the GC

Ive had nightmares about this sort of thing I would love to give it a go but I would like to be on there on my own or with one or two people, dont know how I would feel if there were loads of people on it at the same time

I wonder where abouts on the Grand Canyon it is. I would definately walk on that, I think I might look into that for our trip there on our next holiday.
