Well What Do You Think, Would You Walk On This???

No! I hate glass floors in shopping centres!

As neato as it looks...my answer would be a very adament NO! With my luck that thing would crack right in half. ***shudders

No way, no how!! You would never get me on there. However DH and our DD's are planning on doing it!

It makes me feel funny just looking at it there is no way i would get on it.

I am not scared of heights however there is now way I would go on it!

Would wear my hands and knees crawling along me thinks

Yes, I think I would. Probably helps that I am a lot lighter than I was before :teeth:

Three months ago, I would have said "yes, I'd love to go on it". :cool1:

However, having been to the CN Tower in Toronto in August, and been totally taken aback at my reaction to the glass floor there, I think I'd have to now say "I don't think I could"!! It had never even ocurred to me that I might have a problem with the glass floor but, when it came to stepping on to it, I just froze! I made myself do it in the end (without looking down!), but that was a step-on, step-off floor - not a whole walkway like this one!

Looks brilliant if you've got the nerve, though! :thumbsup2

LOL Hilary! The CNN tower glass floor had the opposite effect on me!!! No-one thought I'd dare walk on it, as I have a real problem with heights but, I don't know why - maybe it was because so many people were walking on it and enjoying it or because it felt so solid - but I walked on there and felt great!! BUT!! When I stepped on the WWTBAM floor I had a problem with that as if I was going to fall through!!! Must be because they kept it so clean!!

Anyway! I actually think I would walk on this glass bridge once I saw others walking on it :) and there were some smeary footprints on it, LOL!

I love the glass floored external lift at La Defense so I'd go on it :thumbsup2 Happy for anyone to chip in for the air fare to see me do it :teeth:

No chance of getting me on here at all, but i'm sure DH would be brave enough :teeth:

I'd definately do it, in fact we were disappointed that it wasn't open in April when we went, We'll be going back to do it in the near future

I wonder where abouts on the Grand Canyon it is. I would definately walk on that, I think I might look into that for our trip there on our next holiday.

its on the north rim (the south rim is the usual stopping point for tourists) but specific tours from vegas have already opened to go to the north

Yes, I think I would give it a go :thumbsup2

I'm not sure as I am scared of heights but I would like to try it.

Why on earth did it take 2 and a half years to make !

well someone had to test out the prototype :rotfl2:

it took over a year to scrape them off the canyon floor

I couldn't do that in a million years. When we last went to Blackpool we went up the tower and they have a section of floor at the top that is glass, I tried my best to walk on it as DH, DS and DD all walked over it no bother. DS was actually jumping up and down on it. I couldn't even get within 3 feet of it, I am such a wimp.

I don't know about Walk of Faith - more like Walk of Fear. :sad2:

Think I would give it a go
