On Sunday I said to DH, "You know, we should really have a serious talk about DVC." I had been thinking that if we were going to buy in, now was probably the time to start taking action. DD is almost 2. We're already planning a massive multi-generational family vacation for 2015 (which being a DVC owner would make significantly easier to plan).

Spent the first half of the week researching and thinking about it. Made an offer for resale points about an hour ago. Just got accepted by the Seller. I know there's still a long way to go in this process, and a lot could happen to upset things, but heck! This is totally not how I expected to close out the week!

Congrats! I am insanely jealous! We have been casually talking about it for years and seriously for 6 months or more. Still waiting for the go ahead to make an offer.....

Looks like we're set to go into ROFR! 150 WL Points.

We've been talking about it for years, too, but I think we're finally in a financial/life position where it makes sense. I mean, with a young kid in tow I don't think we're going to start visiting less than we already do. Plus our friends have little ones too, now. I'm looking forward to treating them to mutli-bedroom suites at deluxe resorts!
