I bought a DVD of "Love Always" and watched and it skipped like half the movie. Problem is, no receipt and I bought it right before Christmas, just now wartched it.
My plan WAS (prior to this thread) going to be buy another copy and trade it for the one I just bought. Now I feel too guilty.![]()
Makes me feel all giddy!jackskellingtonsgirl said:Now I know that Nordstom's policy is to take back shoes NO MATTER WHAT, so I don't know why he bothered to ask and glare at me when I answered. (The sandals for DH aren't from Nordstrom, but when I bought my Crocs the girl said they take back shoes even if they HAVE been worn.)
marlasmom said:I'm sorry but I think you were out of line. He wore the shoes, you were past the price adjustment period. You tried a trick and it barely worked.

jackskellingtonsgirl said:For the record, I have never returned shoes to Nordstrom that have been worn. In fact, I have never returned worn shoes at all, to any store. I have several pairs that DESERVED to be returned after I wore them, but they are still in my closet. Darn. Maybe I am not entirely evil after all.
delilah said:Another variation of buying used shoes. I happen to wear the size that is usually put on display. I tried on the one that was on display, liked it, looked for the box. Didn't notice that the one in the box, marked the size of the one on display, was a whole size smaller. Got the shoes home. Frequently, the shoe that was on display is a little stretched from being on display. This one was no different, but, I could barely get my other foot in the other shoe. I was so happy that the store not only had another pair of the correct size two days later, but, blamed the clerk who checked me out instead of me for my foolishness and haste in not trying on both shoes while still in the store.
. They were worn, and they were... NASTY
. We had to take them back because she had a receipt.sweet angel said:Can someone drop by my house and pick up all the pairs of shoes I've bought, but have never worn, and return them somewhere for me?
I have plenty of those shoes in my closet, too. The only reason I returned the one pair of shoes was the were so over the top painful. I think they were flawed since a shoe of that type shouldn't dig into the foot and make it bleed.
