we must be in the same mode, yesterday I moved my rewards to my card as well. Only $280 for me but I just got the card last july. Gonna use those points to get myself an AP! A birthday present to myself this year- Big 4-0 two weeks from today, I figured I deserve to act like a big kid all year! lol!

Ugh about having to change your ticker, but it will fly now. Mine is actually one day behind because we leave for Disney the day before we arrive at Disney and the ticker is set for the day we arrive.

I HAD to change my ticker for this trip! I don't know how, BUT it was a day ahead... SO after 10 1/2 months of moving down, the Mickey Head is back at the start! Hopefully he will move quickly now!

I did a mock checkout for the Costco water delivery and was happy to see that 2 cases are still $15

I downloaded our rewards onto our rewards card so that is done

We pulled out the suitcases last night and put them in the boys room!

All these little things mean that the trip is getting SO CLOSE!!
Only 10 DAYS!!!

Have you started checking Orlando's 10 day weather forcast? I'm a dork and even though I still have 11 sleeps and check the forcast everyday. I hope we don't get a lot of rain like the people in May.

Here's a live weather update for you all.............

We've been here since the 29th of May and we have had very little rain, just those occasional storms that brew up around 3:00 in the afternoon and really there has only been a couple of them. We leave to go home tomorrow evening and it's been a great 2 weeks especially weather wise! Here's good weather wishes for all of my friends going soon!

Hi Lesley! I checked on the water because I read on another thread that they up'd the price to like $15 a case but now it was probably for 2! Gotta love doing all those last minute things, means the vacation is SO CLOSE!!!

Yay!! According to the 10 day so far so good for our 1st day! I think the rain will be more typical, in May that was a fluke because of a stalled storm!

We used our Disney Visa to buy our new computer!! We just paid it off with the money we had saved up for the computer. We are finally getting smart about using that Disney Visa and reaping the points!! I'm quite impressed you had so much!!

Thanks Sooze! We were fortunate enough to get the 500 bonus rewards when we used the disney visa towards our DVC down payment! It is true though we have been using the card for EVERYTHING and then paying it off at the end of the month....might as well earn something for spending your money We are super excited for the Hall of Presidents!

WE ARE IN THE SINGLE DIGITS BABY!!!!!!!!

8 days from tomorrow!!!! I'll tell ya, we could sure use a vacay around here...what a NUTTY couple of days!

First of all I am STILL IN SCHOOL!! One more full day and 4 half days next week!!!! CAN'T WAIT!!

The weather here has been AWFUL... low 60's and cloudy and rainy! I feel so bad for the boys, there end of the year activities have been curtailed because of the bad weather!

Here is our countdown calendar as of tonight...

Here is our house disaster just waiting to be packed! I apologize in advance for any dust, mess or general disorganization you may see, cleaning has been on the back burner!!

Today I had the pleasure of taking the day off to spend with the boys at school!! I am Eric's room mom and Matthew had an International Festival...both at the SAME TIME!!!!

Here is Eric at his BBQ, unfortunately the crummy weather left us eating quickly and hurrying inside!

Eric and his teacher whom I just ADORE! She was Matthew's teacher too!

He had fun though and all his friends got to sign his shirt! He came home with Sharpie dots ALL OVER his body!!


Matthew is in 3rd grade and has been studying about Ellis Island and immigration and geography. Each student was required to complete a family tree. The teacher then assigned each student a country based on their heritage. Matthew received Germany. He had to write a report, make a flag out of construction paper and construct a family tree. As a celebration they had an International buffet and the students each made a food item from their country and tried to dress in clothes from that country. They really got into it! Here is Matthew reading his report!

Then tonight the boys had their Cub Scout graduation...

your boys just keep getting cuter and cuter! I miss those days of cub scouts with my son! He gave it up when he graduated up to boy scouts. My daughter 15 now is still a girl scout and just earned her silver award this week!

I have a similar pile of toiletries in my house! Lol.. we shop the same circuit for sure! lol.. You have MUCH more than me though since your trip is TWICE as long! (ok I'll admit it.. I'm jealous!) lol...

I wish I could say good weather is headed your way... but there has been cruddy weather here too. The boys are getting so big, I love the pics with their teachers, and so nice you could spend the day with them....

Hmmmm... I'll be teaching 4th grade next year.. that sounds like a really cool project!! Might be borrowing...

Love the pictures of your Disney stuff everywhere. We have the same DVC bag... I just LOVE how big it is! It's great for carry-on luggage, you can cram so much inside.

I can't believe you are still in school. That is just crazy!! Silly East Coast!!

Hey Diane, CONGRATS ON SINGLE DIGITS!!!! We are there tomorrow. What in the world do you have to do 4 half days for? Can't they push those into 2 full? Stinks, bet you are DYING to get out of there. Your piles in your house look just like ours, I just haven't photographed them yet : ) The kids are adorable, glad you got to spend the day with them. LOVE black forest cake : )
