Well, I guess I have time..

On formal night after getting our picture taken with Mickey & Minnie after dinner, we went back to the room & changed. DH & I into jeans & the kids into their PJs then went to watch Nemo. Yes, there were still people who were dressed up but who cares! It's not like we went into the dining room like that. Alot of the people we knew from the board had also changed. We just wanted to be comfortable in the theater & not have to mess with changing the kids after they fell asleep.

Okay- but that's the movie AFTER dinner... we're hoping for late dinner seating- so I was wondering about the movie before dinner- everyone already dressed up formal?

We had the late seating and we saw some people in their dinner clothes, and some not. We did on the first day because we thought that the shows would take up most of the time before dinner, but they were shorter than we were expecting. However we were on the 3 and 4 day sailings there were no formal nights.

Also since you are going on two cruises then mabye the shows and formal nights aren't the same. So you could skip the shows that you have already seen (except for Dreams which you can't see enough times IMO).

Also don't worry about taking to much time to get ready, since you have two rooms it won't take as long as with one. At least you don't have a teenage daughter

Amen to that! Not looking forward to that. But atleast I can just keep reminding myself that my GIRLS are so far apart in age (oldest & youngest) that I'll have one teenager out of the house (hopefully.. college please LOL) by the time the younger daughter is hitting the teenage years. One at a time please. LOL

But wait... she'll be 11- that's like almost a tween. LOL Close enough... but maybe atleast by then she can learn to rinse her hair well when showering WITHOUT help. LOL
