from Disney Dining that is. While I am glad that they called, I don't think that there is much they could have done for me given that my trip is only 6 days away.

After all the recent stories, I am soooooooo glad I made all my ADRs right after I booked the trip in May :thumbsup2

I agree, they don't allow you any time. Maybe they figured, you've been warned. They called me on a Sunday afternoon, only 4 days before our trip, as we were leaving Thursday AM that week.

:wizard: Yep, we had a message from WDW Dining yesterday too. LOL Of course, we had made all of our ADR's back in April. 3 more weeks!!!

Also are you booking for MAJOR places (that are super popular) like LeCelier or Ohana's etc? Just wondering if those places are fillling up quicker than say Kona Cafe or Nine Dragons type of places. Thanks all!!!

I am a little lost. What did they call you for?

Disney is calling to remind folks to make their ADRs BEFORE arriving in WDW. They pretty much start out that they see you have the dining plan and wanted to make sure you already have your ADRs, or they can assist you in making some during the phone call. Pretty much while we were there last week, if you did not have ADRs, you had to work really hard to find some place to eat.

While in WDW last week and eating at LeCellier, the CM said that they are booked completely throught out October. You could still get into Kona Cafe the night we ate there, but the wait was 1 hour. Folks didn't like that answer and we watched many of them stomp off (actually they went to Ohana's and stomped back to Kona's and got on a waitlist). Concourse steakhouse was available to us when we called the night before to get a lunch ADR on Saturday (19th) for a table for 4 and it was no problem. HOWEVER, eating at Concourse Sunday night, the CM was sending folks away, as they were not taking any walkins that night--we had a 30 minute wait at Concourse Steakhouse that night with our ADR. We ate at Maya Grill one night and it was available for walkins. So getting into resort restraurants are still possible, as long as you're not looking to get into Chef Mickey, O'Hanas or even WCC.

I'm hoping that after Labor Day, it won't be as difficult for people to make ADR's...

But I've been calling almost every other day to re-arrange ours (we're trying to coordinate with another couple we know that will be in WDW) and I've not had any problem at all getting anything I want. Maybe it's because there are only two of us. I've switched my Le Cellier reservation three times!

I see by our tickers that we are leaving the same day!

I really haven't had trouble in getting ADRs. I really think that with most schools back in session next week that everything will slow down quite a bit. Maybe it is just wishful thinking but something tells me that the crowd levels next week will be quite a bit different than they have been the past few weeks :thumbsup2

I think Disney has learned a big lesson from this year's "free dining" promo!!! If they offer it again, they need to do a better job on selling ADRs when you book the package rather than having thousands of people flood the World with all those TS credits and absolutely no idea as to what an ADR is!!!
