Actually it happened to me yesterday though since it was a smaller post, I didn't mind so much.

Morning!

Hung out with both sets of SIL, BIL, and nephews last night. They all came over here. We watched The Weather Man. Movie was only so-so. Way too many "F-bombs" and it took away from the movie, at least for me.

Today is Julian's b-day party at the skating rink. His b-day is next Friday but Junior has to work next Saturday so the party is today.

Nancy, great pics. I would love to go to Vegas someday!

HI all......

I have an announcement.....Christopher got his hair cut!!!! I mean seriously cut - as in all gone - almost buzzed!!!!!!! Now I have never been one to complain about hair - I "pick my battles" and have always said "it's only hair" -that being said...I love it - I absolutely love it!!

Elaine enjoy Cleveland - it you see my Uncle or cousins be sure to say hi!! lol.

Nancy - that's not just any old red box there - I love the candy apple color!! And - loved the Vegas Pics!! I'm in for an Easter exchange with "the family".

Two days without jack! woohoo!!

I called the doc. office yesterday and told them I had been having these headaches. And asked if they could see me today (well yesterday). They told me the earliest they could get me in would be next week...ugh Flu season around here. They asked if I my head was still hurting...I told them no...like a *******. So I asked if they could see me on Saturday. I would have to call saturday morning for an "acute care" appt...they don't take appts. prior to saturday morning. So since I got up without a headache I figured I'd wait unitl the next bout then I'd call them right away and tell them they are going to see me whether they like it or not. So I'm going to try and stay stress free for a couple of days to keep it away!!

I did go scrapbooking last night!! I was so tired that i could barely keep my eyes open. When I got home I told my mom that I only got 2 or 3 pages done. I just pulled my stuff out of the car and found out that I completed 5 pages, finished off one page that was almost done, and started another one! That'll teach me to drink and scrap!! J/k!!

Jarrod is going to stay with his other grandparents tonight because his baby cousin is being baptised in the morning. woohoo!! I'm half kidless!! So mom and I are going to PFChang's for dinner (the rest of the tax refund!) and then hitting SuperWalmart for groceries and other sundry items!!

I hope everyone has a great day and I hope to do better ketchup this coming week!!

I went out on the trail for my 6 miles. It was rejuvinating. Sis is back from Brazil and planning to stop by. Going to have to get myself organized here. Yeah, right, ok organized? Maybe

Pam, we hadn't been to Las Vegas in many, many years until a few years ago when we went for Christin's 21st. Boy what a change. The old strip was gone (now I see it is the opposite end from where we stayed....and is looking mighty tacky).
the new places are huge, very elaborate and very themed. Pretty cool.
It has changed just in the 3 years since we have been.
A lot of the old places are being replaced by the glitz
Even Hooters has a casino/resort...replacing the old San Remo.

Glad you got out Lily. Hope Sis brought you a trinket from Brazil

Dave called. He had been strolling around DtD. Lunch at House of Blues and was going to take a nap before going back out later

House work is done. I think I am going to go watch some "bad" sci-fi movies.

Hi y'all! As you can guess we didn't go to Cleveland. As we were heading out, we got a call from Dave saying he had a family thing to do... um... okay no problem here

Went shopping for jeans for me and tools for Luis. I got jeans... boy did I get jeans! Kimmie it is all your fault!!! I now have two pair of Lucky brand jeans. If you don't know what they are, don't look. The prices will give you a heart attack

Hmmm... a Vegas meet? That might be fun!!!

I think I picked up Tara's headache as well. I will be back with a real ketchup! I think I need to get my contacts out and drink something (not alcohol). I'll be back soon with a real post

I am not sure what we are up to tonight. My sinuses aren't the greatest at the moment. I keep getting hoarse sounding now and then. Hopefully that should go away soon. Luis was trying to fix something in our bathroom so now he's about to head in the shower since he's all grimey!

Did I mention how happy I was not to have to go to Cleveland Sorry, I just wasn't up for that tirp at that hour of the day!

We had a nice afternoon out. Had dinner, hit WalMart (bought Disney Trivial Pursit Like I needed to spend $25 on a silly game!) and then we hit BJ's wholesale club. I bought a two pack dvd set...Lady and the Tramp along with the Ugliest Daucsun(?sp). The two pack was $18.49 and the single L&T was $18.49! duh! I bought the two pack. I think Jarrod would like the Ugly dog movie, I always thought it was cute! So I have spent over the allotted amount of money I had in my checking accoutn!! OOPS!! Oh well, it was worth it.

going to play my game now. Have a good evening gang!!

I'll bump and just say what a dork I am. I was so excited about this game that after mom and I had played a while...we remembered that we already had a dsney trivia game!! Knew exactly where it was, pulled it down to find that it has never even been played!! Geez I really am a dork!!!

DD is home for the week for Spring Break. Her college is having theirs early - and I don't think another college is out at the same time. I'm ging with her back to her college tomorrow night for a lecture/talk by author, Frank McCourt (he wrote Angela's Ashes).

DS is going with his Choral group to see Wicked today.
