Mandy is better....she was better yesterday after rest and meds, but I didn't want to send her to school till I was sure the fever wasn't returning. I stopped and picked her up a Nick Magazine and we sat together sharing it.

Alan...not sure of our vacation yet. We love the Smokies and will be there for a weekend in March. We could always make a extra trip in the summer, we would camp then.

KimR...family is in my prayers

Sherry...mentioned to Todd you going in July, he has a twinkle in his eye

Man, it is WINDY here. And its getting cold. We were at 60 yesterday, today our high is 29, tomorrow 18. Blech!

Good morning!

Windy here to but still warm - 54 degrees - supposed tp get very cold this weekend.

It's so nice to have my little princess sound asleep in her bed (ok maybe not so little but always my princess) - I'm sure she will be getting up soon and we will be off so I can deliver her to her Prince Charming for the weekend.
Chris is having headaches again - not sure of physical or emotional - he has counselling tonite.

Suzanne, so sorry about your HD news. Yup, I found out the hard way. Still need to b/u pics though so I guess I’m cruisin’ for trouble again. I’ve got plans to go to another computer for DH and we will be phasing out all the 3 ½” drives too. So, my other project is to transfer the pics stored there onto cds. Massive time for me. (Maybe not really, but for me)

Paula, whoo hooo for the good news. Glad DH got it for Chris too.

Yes, windy here for sure. At least we currently aren’t dealing with that and snow! Sunny and windy and cold.

Work has been oh so fun. Sigh. Came in an hour early today to get something done (my last extra assignment). Server was down. I could have done another hour of sleep. Door lock at work was not functioning, so that should have tipped me to the kind of day I will have. Hope it is done now.

Going this weekend to visit with GF. My other friend is going to come for me and we will drive down there. Got the name for the bear…”Sally Bernice.” Don’t ask..., but thanks for all the really great ideas.

Apparently I didn't escape the cold fairy....I now have a sore throat and a stuffy head. just what I've always wanted!

Kimmar....so sad about the grandpa, hope he can recover.

Nancy...oh no, I hope kitty comes home before the weather gets too cold.

Uhoh...todd is thinking about a trip where he would be getting into trouble with Junior...nellie bar the doors it will be another wild ride!! hehehe

Okay, all you IT type people...what the heck does "WiFi" stand for? I figure the "Wi" is for wireless but the "fi" has me confused. Is it "fidelity" like in HiFi? or is Fiend or Fierce or Finance (since it costs money to be wireless) or is it something totally different? That is my question du jour!!

We have to have our computers shut down by 2pm today because they are migrating our servers from Novell to something by Windows. Not sure exactly what but they are promising us that we will have better performance and speed with the new network. So I will be at work for two hours with not internet to keep me busy! Does this mean that I have to work this afternoon no they couldn't want me to do that!!

Okay, well I've got to go and work for a bit!!

It didn't get as cold as they predicted....at least not here. It is about as cold as it gets here though. No kitty
We did have a lot of wind last night. Power only blinked twice and then was fine.
Cold, windless and sunny today

Got a couple errands to run.
Dave comes home tonight. We'll see how the interview goes......

Tara, hope your cold doesn't get too bad. I am afraid I am getting the one Dave has...and it is a nasty one. I figured I would have it for flying next weekend

I think I have finally quit wheezing - after 4 days of nonstop asthma. Coughing has subsided some, still have a sore throat and a runny nose, though.

The wake last night was a TOUGH one....that mom feels SOOOO guilty. AND, I found out that, not only did her 7yo witness her grandma having a massive heart attack (she passed almost 3 weeks ago) but that same 7-y-o also found her younger sister under the furniture.....the hospital won't release the body yet until results come back from the autopsy, so the wake won't be until Monday...my DS, Jesse got to speak to a couple of his teachers and the priest at Paramus Catholic HS yesterday. They told him to just stay home from school today, so he went to Lodi HS to visit with some of his friends that he had gone to public school with....I bet he was feeling guilty that he hadn't been as close to Richie lately as he used to, probably because he knew that Richie was not into 'good things' and my son saw him heading down the wrong path but Jesse did not want to follow, so they kinda grew apart.....

However, on a LIGHTER note: my youngest DS, Dylan, came home with a certificate "Second Honor Roll" for the 2nd marking period.....

It looks like my eldest is going to stay with daddy this weekend!! We were afraid that he wasn't going to make it home but he is on his way!! woohoo!! I only have one kid this weekend! (normally I don't mind but with a cold and the possibility of bad weather and being stuck in teh house I think this is a good idea!!)

Anyway, hope everyone is having a good friday evening!!
