Just popping in for a quick hello. I can't keep up with things here these days. LOL

Quick update on things here: I have heat now. I have had heat for 8 days now. I'm still waiting for it to go off again. Did I mention that I hate the gas company?

I just found out that I got tickets to go see Saturday Night Live in March. I have been trying to get Saturday Night Live tickets for years! I'm so excited! I can't wait until they announce the host and musical guest!

I'll try to check in again soon.

Oh I did tell Luis how much I spent. Well not the exact amount, but I told him about what was spent. Just each part separate... if that makes sense. He was cool with it... I am such a guilty sap though... can't ever lie or hide things well

Elaine Im the same way. I cant not tell dh anything either. I feel guilty if I keep the littlest thing from him.

I am a bit perturbed. I called the neurologist today about my eldest and his meltdowns lately and she never called me back. I dont know if it is her or her girls not giving her the message. This is not the first time this has happened either. Unfortunately she is one of the few pediatric neurologists that is even remotely close to us and she is 25 miles away.

Well I think Im gonna get the boys into bed and then go sleepies myself. Hope everyone has a good night.

Hey gang,

I just posted a vent on the main dis about the morons at my son's performance tonight. I cannot beleive how rude some people can be...ugh!!!

But Jarrod did a great job. He stood there like he was supposed to, he only covered his ears once, and the rest of the night he looked like a deer caught in the headlights. He tried to sing a few times but I think he was just too overwhelmed by all the people and the noise. We got home and he had some serious steam to blow off!!

Karen...sorry about the checks and the dr. My dr. appt was fine, it was my final follow up to my surgery last month! He promised me I was going to live!! hehehe

I think I'm going to hit the hay soon!!

Fighting a stupid cold. I'm sure it's more stuff brought on by the really cold temps. I just need to be well enough to sing on Saturday at midnight. I really do know it's the below zero temps causing the issues though, so I can't say I'm getting a cold as much as my sinuses are irritated by the weather.

Tara how long does school go there?

Someone in their infinite wisdom thought we should go until Dec. 23. Originally it was a full day...but then they decided to make it a half day. However, there will be so many people out that it won't even be funny.

In fact at the school board meeting last night they were discussing whether or not to ditch friday, but I think it was just a ploy to keep us happy.

I did bring my Christmas cards so I could address them.

I have many of them, but I'm missing a few. Nancy can you pm me the addys so I can be a good yaya? thanks!!

Heck, Geoff's last day at WORK is today and he doesn't go back until the 2nd.

It warmed up here Rainy but warm. The ground warmed so much, it feels like mush Harder to drive on my driveway now then when it was frozen.
We jumped 20 degrees daytime and 30 for overnight!!

Cleaning to do here also...and a menu to plan.

We went to the doc this morning because my oldest daughter has had a persistant cough.

What we have discovered:

Both girls have low grade fevers and ear infections.
Lela has bronchitis
Abigail has strep throat

I am so glad we are not traveling anywhere this weekend!

Spirits are still good though!

Lily, I was thinking the same about a humidifier. I used to always use them in the winter. It does get awfully dry and cold here. Hot tea/chocolate helps too.

Yes, I did Nancy! Trust me, i still find pieces of that everywhere! I think the cats batted some of it away and got stuck under couches and all that. Was hard to pick it off the shirts too
