sadly no. Our last day is Friday. We firmly believe in sucking every last drop out of them as possible!!! Oh and we didn't see a movie. I never even managed to get out of my chair. Several of them had enough tickets (0ur reward system) to go to the library. so I sent 3 to the library, 3 were at speech so that only left 2 in here with me. Worked out well!!

We have a field trip tomorrow. it is called a Challenge Course. Outside in december for 5 hours. Yeah...this is going to be a blast Can you tell I wasnt' part of the decision to do this? ugh!

Rose Mary, I hope you keep on feeling okay. It is nice when you get some relief. I admit I loved my PT people for teaching me how to gently get my back in line. When my back is good, I always feel much better

Kimmar, baby is doing okay. Working through the tummy issues. Not perfect but we are getting better. I know with time he'll improve too

Luis is in the shower and I am up next before we go off to my dad's to celebrate my sister's birthday (a little late, but we waited until my brother came in town for a visit).

I'd say that Abigail is feeling better. I went home and lunch and saw that both girls and Mrs. AA had their faces painted with war paint (I assume that was the idea anyway)

The girls were jumping up and down on a sheet of bubble wrap. To the best of my knowledge, Rebecca had refrained from that activity.

We are going to get a few things from Christmas storage (MILs attic) tonight. We are still trying to keep it minimal but have to put up a few things anyway.

Work has been busy. You would think they week would speed up, but it is going very slow. Of course if my Christmas shopping wasn't so close to being done I would be happy for the slow week...but I am ready to spend time with the family and not work.

Sherry...girls started their break today. I am sure Todd and the girls will be very productive today ...that is in having fun, not chores, etc.

Tara...your threads on your kids in class and their struggles makes me glad I haven't put my teacher certificate to use...mostly because I think I would be in jail from killing someone over not caring. to you and your kids

As for wrapping gifts...I don't mind as long as I'm not in a time crunch. I quit adding all the 'frills' years ago.

Gotta get busy...another full day at work today. Mandy starts her basketball tournament tonight. I think I will need roller skates for my meetings and family obligations

I'm off shopping at the outlets today with Alyssa - hopefully to get her Uggs.... I only have 1 gift left to buy!

Changed shifts so I'm working the over night tonite - think I'll use that time to have a gift wrapping marathon!

Sorry I've been MIA! (Did anyone even miss me?? )

Deadline week here - newspapers just got delivered, DS got the shipping labels printed out last night, now all I have to do is the invoicing!!

FINALLY got the tree up and decorated 2 days ago!
I have almost all of the presents wrapped!
Discovered that some of my online orders from 2 weeks ago will not even be shipped until 12/31! Even though when I ordered, the website said everything was in stock and would be shipped in 3 days. Finally called customer service last night to see where my order was and found out that a lot of the items were on backorder! Stupid NBC Shop!

And now for the big announcement!!

I am about to become the Mother of the Bride!! It's official DD and her BF of 7 years are engaged! He popped the question on Saturday and of course she said yes! Wedding will be in October 2009 - so DH and I have time to save our pennies, nickels, and dimes!

Gotta dash - but I have been reading and wanted to say:
