Morning all... internet issues this morning and a few other things so I am running slower than I wanted to today. I have to head to my dad's for a little research soon too

Yuck on the tummy for you Sherry and sorry that Jonathan is sick. Do you think you have a touch of what he has? I hope you all are feeling better soon.

And another yuck for you Nancy. I hate dentists.

I need to get laundry going and head out for a while. I have some organizing I need to finish in the family room downstairs as well, so I want to get that done today too if possible. I have no clue how people get homes so cleared up in something like Clean Sweep on TLC. Takes me a long time to go through it all.

Elaine...we posted simultaneously...so I guess we are equal parts responsible for the thread falling to page 3!

I went out at lunch and got a new cell phone so mom could have my old phone. I also added her to my plan, it didn't save any money (didn't cost anything either) but it reduces the number of bills to one per month instead of two. So that makes it nice.

I have a camera phone now, so I can take pics of the kids occassionaly when i'm out too!! hehehe (like I need one more thing with me that takes pictures! )

okay, off to look like i'm working again for a bit!!

Nancy, hope that dentist thing was smoth sailing. I know I have major work ahead some day. A generational thing with large fillings due to no coatings on teeth. At least my children shouldn't have to deal with this as they get old.

Everything is super slow here and no one seems to be posting anywhere I go normally

Good thing I got busy. Actually I went to my dad's house in search for something. Found it... then went to my sister's. After that I went to Target and now I am waiting on one load in the dryer to be done so I can attempt to bike today.

Tara, I think we did a bang up job of making the thread come to a halt... or it could be the sloooooooow day here in general... I think I'll go with that one

Good luck with the rematch later this week though Enjoy the new phone! I admit I never use my camera though, so it was a total waste on mine. Luis has the same phone though and uses it often.

Lily, no luck on the organizing yet. Errand running and cleaning won out. I will hopefully get that in sometime today though. There is so little left in a pile, that you would think I could knock it out quickly... oh well *sigh*

Wish I had something fun or exciting to say, but I don't. Boring little life I guess *sigh*

Dentist was good. I don't mind going there when it is just a cleaning
Windows are coming tomorrow too I warned them carpet was going in...guess they can coordinate getting in each others way I will staying in the family room. Looks like 2 days of TV and reading.

Tiara, I've only been to Melting Pot once and loved it. I've been promised another trip with Ed for all the kitty sitting we've been doing. I just have to line up the sitter. I can PM you the world's easiest fondue recipe. We follow Alton Brown's recipe and swap out the cheeses. I added family members to my phone-it's worth the extra 10 bucks a line. 5,000 rollover minutes tells me that I can still add people!

Nancy, those are awfully cute crocs! Feast or famine with workmen, eh?

Lainey, back away from the Dove Cookies and no one gets hurt!

Good, productive day at work. Had to switch all the prep stations to the new menu. Looking forward to making these things this week.

No way I can do a catch up....been gone too long.

Did see Lily and Ted had an anniversary yesterday! Happy Belated Anniversary!

2 weekends ago went on an Emmaus Walk. It was great! Now just trying to work on what God has led me to improve for His will.

Sherry...keep that lysol going. Sorry everyone is getting sick your way. Hopefully it will all pass soon.

Nancy...windows and carpet on the same day It will look like a new house to you. Hope they don't trip over each other.

Nancy, I'm with you on the crocs. Still think they're butt ugly, but if they could make my feet stop hurting, epecially with working on tile floors now, then I'm happy. got black and tan. Want chocolate and navy for work, then the fun colors after that!

Sherry, with two I sometimes have a hard time keeping one from getting what the other has, it must be nearly impossible with four! Crossing my fingers, saying prayers to make sure you have healthy kids.

Tiara, where are some pictures? You've got the camera phone, so you should take pictures of EVERYTHING, whether you need to or not. Boss used his yesterday to take pictures of what was in a box of chicken-it wasn't the type that we'd ordered (and the outside said it was), lol!

Ed hasn't been called for work yet. The RCA's got a lecture yesterday that they MUST answer their phones, but sometimes the Post Office doesn't call until 10am! So here we sit, and I want to go out for breakfast (to recruit waitresses to work for me )

Morning everyone. For whatever reason, I'm not in a terribly chatty mood. I figured I ought to post now before I let another hour slip by w/o anything

My dad is currently in a hot air balloon over AZ... lucky guy. He has a few more things planned this week before my SIL's parents return

Suzanne, I am lucky, the Dove cookies were left at our friend's house. So I am free of them for at least a week
I smiled when you mentioned Alton Brown... my BIL is in love with him. I like him, but don't always agree on him with his cooking. A lot of it is great though, but he lost sooo much respect from me when he tried to say boxed cakes are better than home made.

Ewwwwwwwwww... yuck Nancy!!!!
Oh and I think Crocs are very cute with jeans. Just something about the heel on them for me sends shots of pain up to my knee. If they were comfier or cheaper, I'd buy a pair

Didn't get the chance to stop back in last night. Jar had counseling until 545 and then I had my bowling banquet to go to and by the time I got home and got the kids in bed I was beat. I did turn on the computer and download my email and that was as far as I got. sorry

Yuck on the dead mouse and the sicky family. We had the bug go through our house! no fun!

Never tried dove cookies. But I don't need anything else to feed my waist line. It is trying to grow by the day! Ineed to find my way back to Curves. I seem to have lost my way!

Knitting...cool. I made two preemie hats this weekend and started on a third hat. I like doing those because I can knock one out in about two hours (usually less if I'm not watching tv.). When we have 15 or 20 we take them over to the children's hospital and drop them off.

The phone...no waring over minutes...I think my mom uses 5 minutes a month if that much. I just want her to have it when she is out on the road. She was going to cancel it but I wouldn't let her (I'm bossy that way). The nice thing is all my calls to my house and her mobile are free and so I have 900 any time minutes and unlimited nights and weekends. I probably use less than 200 minutes as it is. I also have free long distance and free roaming (well, free as in it is built into my plan.) I have taken some pictures with the thing just to play but I can't seem to get them to send. So I have to get help with that. i'm going to go online today and see waht I can find. (I have a manual but heck who uses the book!)

Okay, gotta run and do some real work. I'm actually trying to do things for next year!! hehehe to heck with this year!
