Deena, my cousin is very talented!! She's made many dresses for special occasions that are truly amazing. That dress was inspired by the Titanic style era. She made my veil as well to match the style of the time. I admit I did the flowers were all done by myself (silk), so we had a lot of hand done stuff in my wedding

PoohSue, some of the funniest stuff lies in those 15 pages,,,trust me in that one!! Don't work to hard and do at least try to read some of those pages!! They are quite funny. Karen, sure hope you are feeling better!! I also am struggling with baby steps and getting back on my feet. I have a hard time taking 3 steps forward and 1 back just cause I was a bit over ambitious. Just take things nice and slow. Hope you are feeling better soon!!

Awww Liz missed me. I feel loved Sorry Liz I was just to tired to hang out last week. My body thinks it needs to sleep most weekend hours to make up for the hours I miss during the week. It must be an old lady thing
Matthew, Connor and I (it was mu turn to get up Connor) are the only ones up right now. DH, Evan, Michael and Michael friend Travis are still sleeping. When I can get their butts out of bed I think we are going to the new house. David hsa a friend helping him put some texture on the living room wall so hopefully we can get moved in.

in your jammies and let us all bring you nice big bowls of soup...I think Kristy is making a big ole pot of chicken veggie, and a favorite of mine when I am sick is popsicles. Greg and my sister laugh at me because even at the tender age of thirty something I still want popsicles when I am sick. Greg let me know just how many popsicles I ate after my surgery and the number was astounding!!! I will gladly bring you some popsicles if you would like. Get rested and take care of you....NO PLAYING WITH THE CABANA BOYS TODAY!!!!!

Oh you are soo kind. Yep jammie day for sure. Being waited on too! I've been eating a variety of diffeerent flavored Klondike bars. Popsicles, love them we don't have any here. I am especially fond of the Rainbow Popsicles. Mmmm. DH didn't bring any back from grocery shopping yesterday.

LOL, Lily, no we are not twins!!! She is 13 months older than me and I think in person we look less alike than we do in that pic. She has thicker hair than me, is more fair than I am, and has these amazingly dark dark brown eyes (I have green) The photographer actually loved our skin and eye contrast that showed up in the real pic better than scanned then uploaded

Liz, you make me laugh because I actually would love to be a wedding planner. Just not sure how to go about doing it! I have fun planning big events like this

Deena, that is exactly what weekends are for!!! Enjoy sleeping in when you can!!

LOL, I think I got annoyed with my scanner and didn't scan most of the pics I wanted in of my wedding. Let me see if I have a pic of my dad somewhere (wedding or not)

Nah - I actually write about the embarrassing things women say on an internet bulletin board!!!

No - seriously - I am the editor of a monthly newspaper for Professional Truck Drivers. I write a slice of life type of column - mainly my musings, sometimes my rantings and it's usually focused on work and family. This month's is about introducing Gunny to the family and how he and Precious are fighting and it's like having little kids in the house again! I also write feature stories and then layout the entire newspaper (placing ads and copy although I don't do ad design!)

I don't do communal showers!! In HS I would get red marks for refusing to take off my underwear and beach towel so the gym teacher could do a panty check.... I rolled the bra straps down and since I am only 5', the beach towel concealed everything pretty well - just wet the hair and splash some water on the face and arms - and you're good to go - unless the teacher was in one of THOSE moods!!
