And I am here for ya if you ever need an ear to listen!! Me and my sister have a pact...if either of us EVER turns out like my mom...we are to do WHATEVER measures necessary to alleviate the problem...even if it means hard time in jail!!!!! I adore my sis!! She is a rock....and she deals with my mom far more than I......That is probably a good thing though, because me and my mom butt heads....A LOT!!!

I actually meant to say how do/did you deal with being a parent to your own parent.

Liz....that's why I wish I had a sibling now...someone that would understand exactly what I'm going through. My mom has always been my best friend...but...this turn of events has torn us so far apart. It's like I don't know her anymore.

And Kristy, even when you have siblings, sometimes you are alone feeling whne it comes to things like parenting a parent. Not all siblings are around, understand or know how to cope.

guess I just assume that all siblings will be supportive of each other and know how to cope...even when they don't want to.
