Hi all! No here today! Very yucky ride into work on a Sat. a.m. Sure didn't want to get out of my nice warm bed.

Lily-My sister had gastric by-pass about 5 yrs ago now. At the
time we all tried to talk her out of it but, she has done really well and kept the weight off, no complications. But, it really isn't a easy thing to go thru. She really watched what she ate and did what she was suppose to do and has kept the weight off.

Ok, better get to work.

I woke up rather quickly this morning and jumped right on the puter.....when the first thing I saw was RoaseMary's post I thought holy smokes, I slept all the way through Monday!!! Anyway, I am glad it is still Saturday and so sorry RoseMary that you are at work. At least you are DISing!!!
I got lots more sleep last night!! Went to bed by 8 I just don't get it!! I NEVER sleep this much!!

Again, not much time for ketchup but I did want to say and good morning!! It is going to be a very busy day here as we are headed to a party in the afternoon. We ahve a few things to make, and Greg needs to get a hair cut. I am still trying to find jammies that are party approriate!! Now, for the record, let me clarify before you all go over teh deep end with that comment... (I hope Alan does not read this) I wear flannel lounge pants and tshirts to bed. Nothing special!!! I am trying to see if I have a "nice" shirt that would match my nice red and black plaid or red coffee cup lounge pants. I have decided the purple flying monkeys, blue teddy bears and pink and purple shoe lounge pants could be fun, but not party approriate!!! So off to figure out what to wear!! Wish me luck!!

PoohSue - we are about an hour's drive from Kennywood - and at least 5 hours from Hershey's. Not sure about the distance for Knoebel's, as we've never gone there....

morning, Ya Yas! I must be nuts--I'm headed to Hair Cuttery and the current temp is 7º!! Yes, that was one single digit!! I'm almost afraid to stick my nose out the door!!! But I simply MUST get this mop cut and this weekend is really my only free one this month!!

Poohzanne, we saw Love, Actually and really liked it! Dave said there was enough humor in it for a guy along with all the sappy romance for us women. What time should I show up for the crabcake bites?? Oh, yeah!! And what WAS up with the 2 hour delay yesterday?!! Sheesh, I could have blown the snow off the car just by whistling!! Would you believe, though, that accidents on the toll road, INSIDE the beltway, had Fairfax Parkway crawling all the way from before Rte. 7??!!! And when I turned off at Fox Mill, the northbound side was backed up as far as I could see! Snow brings out the idiocy in far too many drivers.

Nancy will be doing retail therapy at the mall today!! WTG, girl!! Now that it's January, the summer clothes and swim suits should be out You might want to pick up some new shorts for DL!!!

Hey, where's Lainey this morning? She's usually up with the early birdies! Probably freezing cold in Ohio too and she's still cocooned in her down comforter. Laine!!

Lily, hope you are enjoying your breakfast with the girls. I had a friend who had the surgery too, but she was lazy and while she lost quite a bit of weight, she still carries quite a bit of belly. Guess it depends on the person.

Kristy, we had SG-1 on and I saw my favorite cutie several times, but I was online and didn't pay enough attention to the TV to know what the story was. Do you know if they re-run this episode during the week?

Holy Crow I just got up and I feel like I could go right back to sleep. I cant though because I have my eldest first BBall game to go to today. Getting out and about again for awhile.

I sneated down to camp - all is well - the temp was a balmy 4 degrees when I was there at noon!
It went way below -2 last night - but don't have a definite temp reading right now. They were having fun, though and planning on sleeping in the tents again tonight.

Gee Rose Mary - you should be ashamed - 40 degrees! We would be breaking out the shorts and swimsuits up here..... j/k

Afternoon Well last night wasnt as bad as I thought. My friend, Candace, was in pretty good spirits so we all talked and had a few laughs. My other friends and I went out to eat after that--had a couple of rita's and chilled out. Got home late but not to late.
I have been pretty useless today--havent dont anything but drive Matthew, Michael & his friend Travis somewhere. Dh is going over to paint pretty soon. He is needs to get the dining room done. We are going to use it as a computer/toy room.
Its chilly here but very sunny. Really a very pretty day.
Kristy--Connor got that movie for Christmas, it is cute.
